Bandito came in with his sister Violet when their previous family could no longer give them the time and attention they desperately need. Bandito is a 30 lb., 3 year old male pug mix who is navigating life just fine without his companion, Violet. Although he was living outside, his kennel has been clean and dry each morning. Bandito is great with other dogs, cats and people big and small. He walks well on a leash and likes to snuggle. Ebony is a 1 year old female Puggle (Pug/Beagle) mix, who is a sweet little lovebug ready to win your heart!  Sadly she is often overlooked simply because she will quietly wait for people to notice her inside her cage. But she has quickly become a volunteer favorite because once she is out on a walk, her super cute face and big joyful smile have a way of spreading good cheer to everyone around her! In addition to walks, Ebony loves to spend time in the park, where she can run as fast as her short little legs will allow. She also seems to be a true social butterfly in the doggie world, since she greets other dogs with lots of tail wags that make her whole body waggle. Ebony recently had a play session with another dog (Piper) in the park, and they quickly became best friends! Of course, a Meet and Greet is always recommended if you have other dogs in your household. Ebony is also a super lovable and oh-so-cuddly girl, and belly rubs are her favorite! All that she needs now is a family to share all of her love with. Take this sweet girl home, and she will fill your life with joy, snuggles, and complete devotion. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. Runt Runt was surrendered with his brother, Pudgy, by their family due to hardships. We also learned that they were eating chickens without consent, so farm life isn't going to be ideal for either of them. Runt can be nervous in new environments but warm up after learning a routine. He doesn't mind other dogs, as he came from a house with dogs larger than himself. Runt does enjoy attention and is learning about leash walking.

Maxi is the most interesting mix we’ve seen in a while! Mom was a pug and dad was a husky! Maxi is five years old and he is fully grown at 46 pounds. He’s a love bug. He loves to cuddle. He will sometimes also howl for attention. He gets along well with other dogs and with kids. He has never been around cats. Maxi has been doing well on his home. He’s a little on the calm side and he is housebroken and crate trained.
