Jake is an adorable 7 year old chug who weighs a chunky 23 pounds. Just look at his cute underbite! His world turned upside down when his owner passed away and now he is back with us. He is a little timid but loves the attention of humans. Jake has several food sensitivities but the appropriate food has it all under control. He has all the house manners and has previously lived with other dogs. His adoption fee is 200.00~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org. Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE
