Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar. They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Lindsey is an 8 month old pug. She is a very friendly, active girl who gets along well with everyone! She has an old eye injury that occurred when she was younger. This is cosmetic and should not require ongoing care. She may have limited vision in one eye. Adoption fee is 750.00 and includes her transport to the Northeast or south. Located at a foster home in Iowa. We prefer a home who has experience with pugs or a similar breed. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. Tyson is an affectionate and adorable Pug/mix searching for his forever family! This cutie is the perfect age, at 5yr old, and weighs just 12lbs. He currently lives with 4 little dogs and 1 big dog in his foster home and does great with all of them! Tyson is crate trained, house trained, and is very food motivated! He actually loves food so much he has been caught table surfing, and can get a little snarky over &#34his&#34 food at times, so his family will need to be mindful of this. Tyson is a curious boy, and he loves to go on sniffing adventures - he prefers exploring over playing with toys. Tyson would be a wonderful addition to a household with older kids, and would be happy to live with other friendly dogs! Meet Lincoln! Lincoln is one of 3 pug (mixes?) recently surrendered to Rescue Me Georgia from a backyard breeder. Big Boy Lincoln (chocolate and tan) appears to have a little something extra mixed in with his pug genes - Bulldog perhaps? Not only is he way larger in both height and weight (26 lbs!!), his coloring is not breed standard and his face and coat are just a bit “off” from what you’d expect to see in a true pug. Lincoln was just a tad shy when he arrived to his foster home but with the help of his bestie, Gia, he has settled in great! Being from a backyard breeding situation, Lincoln has never known life as an only dog.
