We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available.   Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Feelin’ Lucky? You Should Be! Hey there, future fam! The name’s Lucky—and not to brag, but adopting me might just be your greatest stroke of luck yet. I mean, who wouldn’t want a little extra good fortune snuggled up on the couch next to them? Once upon a time, I had a family of my own. I gave them all the loyalty, love, and tail wags a dog could offer. But one day, they decided to roll the dice on a new chapter… and left me behind. Ouch. Let’s just say the shelter wasn’t my vibe—I missed home, routine, and most of all, being someone’s sidekick. But hold onto your four-leaf clovers… things turned around! Thanks to the awesome folks at Heidi’s Legacy, I hit the jackpot: a foster home! Now I’m back in the groove—shadowing my foster mom and dad like a true professional (equal opportunity follower right here), sniffing around my very own fenced yard, and perfecting my “chill companion” energy. I’m what they call a Puggle (Pug + Beagle = Perfection). Think squishy face meets wiggly butt. I may be mature in years, but my heart is young, my energy is strong, and my cuddle game? Unmatched. I’m looking for a family where we can stroll the block, hang in the backyard, and maybe binge-watch a show or two. I’m house-savvy, emotionally available, and 100% ready to be your good-luck charm. So what do you say? Ready to press your Luck(y)? No whammies here—just one sweet, silly, soulful boy who’s ready to win your heart. Lucky's adoption fee is $400 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required. Story
Meet Sir Spinzalot `Gizmo` — The Pug Monarch of Mayhem If you’re looking for a dog who lives to please you… keep scrolling. If you’re looking for a dog who expects you to live to please him — congratulations, you’ve found your guy.At 8 years old, this distinguished pug could not care less about human affection… at first. He’s got better things to do, like spinning in a circle at least 10 times before sitting down (it`s in the rulebook — don’t question it). He doesn’t want to know your name, your hobbies, or your life story… until he realizes he’s stuck with you. Then? His silly, sweet, idiotically endearing side will sneak out when you least expect it.Sir Spinzalot (yes, that’s what we’re calling him) has been the undisputed King of his Castle, and trust us — he knows it. He expects a loyal subject (that’s you) to provide snacks promptly. Crack open a food package within a 100-mile radius and watch him transform into a heat-seeking pug missile, hurtling into your personal space to investigate and negotiate for a bite.Quirky? Absolutely. Loveable? Without question. House rules? His. Always. He’s looking for a home that will let him be exactly who he is: a goofy, bossy, charming little ruler with a heart hidden under all that self-importance. He promises to eventually let you into his royal circle, once you’ve proven your worth (read: snacks). If you’re ready to bow down to the most delightfully ridiculous pug you’ll ever meet, apply today.

Story
Squish / Redington Beach Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Pug Mix Age: 5 mo DOB 10-07-24 Sex: Male Weight: 7.5 lb currently – for an adult weight, could be 15-25 lbs Color: Fawn DOGS: yes Kids: Respectful 13+ with small dog experience Meet Squish, can you believe that little face? Melts your heart, right? Squish is now a healthy and happy 5 month old little boy who weighs in at a whopping 7.5 lbs.!!!! We think his adult weight could be up to 15-25 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight. Squish is a happy puppy who loves to play with the other pups in his foster home and of course, like any puppy, likes to chew on things. He picks up anything and everything that is in front of him, so he will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything he wants to taste, other than food, away from him. HA! After playtime, he will settle down in a soft puppy bed or lap to relax. Please remember, puppies require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, especially in potty training. (He has been working on pee pad training) and loves leash walks. Also, don’t forget, they can be “curious” so you’ll need to puppy proof your home for his safety. He will need a home with watchful eyes to make sure he doesn’t get into things he is not supposed to. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference. Squish would love a family that will continue to show him all the good things that life has to offer. Since he is still a puppy, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be 10+ and small dog experienced. He is fast and so small he darts and can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. He will need to be in a home where his people are agile and very alert to keep an eye out for him. He is looking for a home ideally with another dog for him to play with and learn from, a similar sized dog under 25 lbs, and please, no big doggies in his new home. Squish has been neutered, is current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm prevention and flea prevention. If you’d like to add this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. viprescue.org Application form: https://viprescue.org/application-to-adopt

Story
Hey all! It’s me, Nala, looking for my forever home! I came into rescue several months ago and I didn’t feel too well back then. I lived my life on the streets scavenging for food. I only weighed 17 lbs then but with the help of SSBR and my foster family, I’ve blossomed to a healthy and muscular 55lb lady! I love to play independently and with my fur siblings. I built my muscles doing zoomies in the yard, but I also love squeaky toys and nylon bones. I love my humans hard but I’m scared of strangers so I need a quiet and patient home who can show me all the love I deserve. My foster mom says I give the BEST hugs and I show my emotions with my eyes. Apply at https://www.southernstatesbullyrescue.org/blank 📍currently fostered in Wesley Chapel FL
