Meet Sir Spinzalot `Gizmo` — The Pug Monarch of Mayhem If you’re looking for a dog who lives to please you… keep scrolling. If you’re looking for a dog who expects you to live to please him — congratulations, you’ve found your guy.At 8 years old, this distinguished pug could not care less about human affection… at first. He’s got better things to do, like spinning in a circle at least 10 times before sitting down (it`s in the rulebook — don’t question it). He doesn’t want to know your name, your hobbies, or your life story… until he realizes he’s stuck with you. Then? His silly, sweet, idiotically endearing side will sneak out when you least expect it.Sir Spinzalot (yes, that’s what we’re calling him) has been the undisputed King of his Castle, and trust us — he knows it. He expects a loyal subject (that’s you) to provide snacks promptly. Crack open a food package within a 100-mile radius and watch him transform into a heat-seeking pug missile, hurtling into your personal space to investigate and negotiate for a bite.Quirky? Absolutely. Loveable? Without question. House rules? His. Always. He’s looking for a home that will let him be exactly who he is: a goofy, bossy, charming little ruler with a heart hidden under all that self-importance. He promises to eventually let you into his royal circle, once you’ve proven your worth (read: snacks). If you’re ready to bow down to the most delightfully ridiculous pug you’ll ever meet, apply today.

Story
Lola / Holiday, FL Available for adoption Viprescue.org Age: 8yrs Breed: Pug/beagle mix Weight: currently 25 lbs. (should be 18-20 lbs) Gender: Female House trained: yes Location: Holiday FL Color: tan Good with dogs: Yes Not cat tested Fenced yard recommended Hi there everyone! I’m Lola, a very sweet 8 year old Pug-Beagle mix gal. First, let me apologize as I’m a bit overweight, but am working real hard to lose those excess pounds. My foster parents have me on a low calorie diet, and while I’m not crazy about it because it’s so different than the human food I’m used to eating, I am coping with the change and have already lost over 2 pounds! Yeah me!! My friend Bailey (see separate post) and I came to VIP Rescue after we were taken in by Animal Control after our human passed away. I had a couple lumpy bump that needed to be surgically removed, along with a fresh dental and my friends here at VIP took care of that for me. Now I’m all ready to find a new home! My foster parents love that I am such a sweet girl. I get along with all the other dogs in the house and like to play when I can coax someone into playing with me. Otherwise, I’m quite content to hang with my humans while they do whatever they do. I do exhibit a few of the Beagle traits. Sometimes I like to howl at noises I don’t understand. I’d also be a good watchdog, I like to monitor my surroundings and sound the alarm when something seems amiss. Arooooooooo! My Pug traits are more dominant though. I have a happy tail that is more Pug than “Beagley” My curiosity and head tilts are already legendary with foster Mom and Dad. I will barge through closed doors if I get the chance, just like my Pug brother. While I’m generally very easy going, strange noises might frighten me. When foster Mom was using the trimmer, for example, I felt compelled to attack it because I didn’t know what it was! Also, watch your plants; I like to sneak a nibble now and then. I guess that makes me a normal dog just trying to make her way in the world, right? ? I just know if you met me, you’ll fall in love. I’m spayed, microchipped, fresh dental current on my vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in me! ? If you think I might be the girly for you, maybe with my buddy Bailey please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. Story
Squish / Redington Beach Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Pug Mix Age: 5 mo DOB 10-07-24 Sex: Male Weight: 7.5 lb currently – for an adult weight, could be 15-25 lbs Color: Fawn DOGS: yes Kids: Respectful 13+ with small dog experience Meet Squish, can you believe that little face? Melts your heart, right? Squish is now a healthy and happy 5 month old little boy who weighs in at a whopping 7.5 lbs.!!!! We think his adult weight could be up to 15-25 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight. Squish is a happy puppy who loves to play with the other pups in his foster home and of course, like any puppy, likes to chew on things. He picks up anything and everything that is in front of him, so he will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything he wants to taste, other than food, away from him. HA! After playtime, he will settle down in a soft puppy bed or lap to relax. Please remember, puppies require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, especially in potty training. (He has been working on pee pad training) and loves leash walks. Also, don’t forget, they can be “curious” so you’ll need to puppy proof your home for his safety. He will need a home with watchful eyes to make sure he doesn’t get into things he is not supposed to. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference. Squish would love a family that will continue to show him all the good things that life has to offer. Since he is still a puppy, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be 10+ and small dog experienced. He is fast and so small he darts and can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. He will need to be in a home where his people are agile and very alert to keep an eye out for him. He is looking for a home ideally with another dog for him to play with and learn from, a similar sized dog under 25 lbs, and please, no big doggies in his new home. Squish has been neutered, is current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm prevention and flea prevention. If you’d like to add this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt.
