Sweet Sophie is a playful mix breed who is looking for a family without small children. She would be fine in a home with older (10+) kids that are calm and polite and have good dog manners. She is housebroken, spayed and current on her vaccines. Sophie loves being around her humans and would love a family that is home a lot and doesn't work long hours away from the house. She does need to be the only dog in the home. She is cat friendly.  Adoption fee $150, includes:Dog spayed and current on vaccinations.30 days of free pet insurance through MetLifeA free "clean start" bath, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and nail trim at ScenthoundFree training support for the life of the pet, including group classes. Story
Meet Rowdy Rudy. He's a funny looking dude and was born with dwarfism in his front arms but he doesn't let that slow him down or stop him from partying hard. We adopted him at 6 months when he was rescued from his breeder who was going to shoot him due to not being up to standards for breeding. We fell in love with this weird little dude. He will be 4 in September. He has no health issues or concerns. Rowdy Rudy is the sweetest boy ever however about 2 months after we got him, we noticed he had an aggressive side out of nowhere and would lock jaw onto my other dogs / not let go. After a few years, lots of training, working with him, doctors, etc we are still struggling with this issue and with no answers as to why or how to fix it. He has been raised in our home with multiple other dogs male/female. There is literally no rhyme or reason behind his attacks. He will go from grooming my dog to attacking him in a split second. He plays great & he loves other dogs but is unpredictable.
