You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Bo Bo  is an adorable chunky 13 lb boy. Born 8/29/24 He loves everyone. He adores children! He is scared of cats. He is extremely playful and very active. He gets along with other dogs, but will need to be separated at feeding time.  He can be bossy with food. We are working on this issue and house training. Adoption fee is 950.00 . This includes transport to the SE. He was surrendered by a breeder. We prefer a home who has experience with pugs.   Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only. Meet Bailey's litter of 6. They were born January 4th in an Alabama animal control facility.  They currently weigh about 5 lbs. We believe Bailey's is a pug/Chihuahua mix and the daddy was a Frenchie mix. We cannot guarantee exact breeds or adult weights of pups in our rescue.  Like all puppies, these are extremely friendly,  playful,  curious,  and very cuddly. These pups have been wormed every 2 weeks and have had their first puppy vaccines.  Prior to adoption,  each will be spayed,  neutered,  microchipped,  vaccinated,  wormed and given flea,  tick,  and heartworm prevention.  Adoption fee is $275. Meet our sweet, smart Bailey. She came to our rescue in February with her 6 pups from a northern animal control facility. She was a fantastic mama to her pups. As you can see from her pictures, she gets along wonderfully with the dogs and pups in the rescue- well, not All. She and our 60 pound senior female Lab and Bailey absolutely hat each other. We do not know who gave the evil eye first, but they despise each other. Bailey learns very quickly. She knows Sit, Stay, and how to climb over xpens and crates. What a fantastic agility dog would Bailey be!!! She's been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, and given flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She weighs about 12-15 lbs and is about 3 years old. Her adoption fee is $275. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants.
