I am all healed up from my eye removal surgery due to glaucoma, that many of you so generously donated to help my friends with. We can’t thank you enough!
I am all ready for my forever home! My foster family has taken ah-mazing care of me providing me with medical care and lots and lots of love.
I get along well with other calm, respectful and friendly doggies. I love to go for walks, but not in the heat please as my breed, an Ori-Pei, is sensitive to the heat. I am a cross between a Pug and a Shar-Pei and weigh about 49 pounds. I am turning 8 years old in a few weeks and I feel good!!
I am such a good boy and don’t need much. Just a patient and understanding family that will always look out for me and make sure that I don’t wander into danger since I can’t see. I can learn the lay of your house very quickly and love to be with my people. I am housetrained too!
I would love a family of my very own where I can be loved and cared for and will give you all my love in return.
I am a Have-A-Heart Fundraiser pet. My additional fee helps The Animal League treat heartworm positive dogs. Read more about the Have-A-Heart Fundraiser here: https://www.facebook.com/77786854491/photos/pb.77786854491.-2207520000.1455034437./10153429585124492/?type=3&theater

APPLICATION: https://theanimalleague.org/adoption-application/
Please visit https://theanimalleague.org/faqs/ for the answers to our most commonly asked questions such as, "what are your fees," "when can I visit," and "what is your adoption process."
IMPORTANT: THE BEST WAY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS PET IS TO FILL OUT OUR NO OBLIGATION, NO FEE ADOPTION APPLICATION. WE CAN NOT ALWAYS ANSWER GENERAL EMAIL INQUIRIES AND CALLS.
We are volunteer based and taking care of injured, neglected pets is our priority, if you have not heard back from us within a week of applying, this pet had a best match application ahead of yours.
We will keep your application on file for 6 months in case you see another pet of interest.
If you do see another pet of interest, email us (when you fill out an adoption application you will receive an email contact) to tell us you would like your application applied to that pet.
Thank you for your understanding! We always welcome new volunteers!
