Available for adoption! Sam is all puppy! Loves to run & play but will settle in for some cuddles if you invite him. He does well with considerate dogs of any size and the same goes for children old enough to handle his active play style. He did well when meeting a kitty, even gave her a kiss on her nose.  The family that he selects as his own would be blessed!   Whitey's Only Wish is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue. Donations are deductible as permitted by law.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 3 months (as of 2/4/25) Weight: 9 lbs (as of 2/21/25) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Joey B, also known as “Chugs”, a lively puppy full of love and energy. He's playful, always ready for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard. But he's equally content to curl up in your lap, his warm presence a comforting cuddle at the end of a long day. Chugs adores everyone he meets, greeting all with a wagging tail and bright eyes full of affection. He's a fan of dress-up, always up for donning a cute outfit and being the center of attention. His love for being carried and caressed is second to none. But what sets Chugs apart is his ability to love unconditionally. His heart is as big as his spirit, and he's ready to share that love with a forever family. Being just a pup, he will have so much to learn! He'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Chugs is more than a rescue, he's a companion, a friend, and a bundle of joy waiting to brighten up your life. Adopt him and experience the boundless love of a pet who will cherish every moment spent with you. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 22, 2025, 5:12 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 2.5 years (as of 2/4/25) Weight: 23 lbs (as of 2/4/25) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Paxton, a fun and happy Pug mix. His playful nature is infectious, spreading joy wherever he goes. His boundless energy makes him the perfect companion for long walks or runs. Despite his love for fun, Paxton is also a perfect gentleman. He's well-mannered, patient, and has a knack for making everyone around him feel at ease. He is a smart boy that is house trained and crate trained but needs a little work on his leash skills. His propensity for dashing through doors adds a charming quirk to his personality – potential adopters will need to have him leashed before heading out or put him in a crate before opening the door. We recommend that you and Paxton sign up for some dog training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing him home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends. Paxton is more than just a pet, he's a friend, a confidant, and a source of endless entertainment. His loving and friendly demeanor is sure to brighten any home. So, why adopt Paxton? Because a home with Paxton is filled with laughter, love, and countless adventures. His unwavering loyalty and companionship are the perfect additions to any family. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. Pocket sized bulldog mix with great Corgi type ears! Very friendly girl who listens well. She is good in her crate. Loves to go for long walks and car rides! Ginny is not high energy. She would do well with an older person/persons who has a fenced yard where Ginny could get out of the house to take care of "business"
