Story
Are you looking for a playful, cuddly dog in a small package? Delilah is a 2-year-old, 33 pound pug mix with a long curly tail. She's confident and high energy and loves playing with toys. When it's time to settle down, she'll lie on her mat and rest or entertain herself with a toy. She enjoys walks but could use some loose leash training. Delilah is fun to be around and has lots of love to give. She would be equally comfortable in an apartment in the city or a house in the suburbs. She is good with other dogs and should be fine with children. We don't know what Delilah thinks of cats but can cat-test her if needed. Delilah is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $400. If you would like to meet/adopt Delilah, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms or stop by our shelter Wednesday-Sunday between 12 and 6 PM. The DAWS shelter address is 147 Grassy Plain St. Bethel. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions. Delilah can't wait to meet you!

Story
This adorable pug mix is Milo. He is 3-years-old and weighs 18 lb. Milo is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Milo is a great dog. He doesn't know basic commands, but comes every time I call him. Milo has a playful disposition with medium-high energy and is very athletic for such a little dog. Milo likes everyone in the family equally, so not a one-person dog. When I'm busy, he happily entertains himself with toys. He goes into his crate willingly and does not make a sound all night. Milo is not a barker. He is 100% housetrained! Milo gets along very well with our cat and has been friendly to new people, children and dogs that we have encountered on walks. He walks nicely on a leash and has not been reactive, even when other dogs barked at him. Milo loves to snuggle on the couch with the family to watch TV and he loves to go in the car on any errands. He really loves being outside. Milo had no adjustment period to our home. He is going up and down our steep wooden stairs easily and has not spooked at any loud noises. This dog is a ten!" Milo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $400. If you would like to meet/adopt Milo, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions. Milo can't wait to meet you!

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Jazzy - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Jazzy (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! Unfortunately I'm a baby having babies, but thankfully it's my one and only. Me, Jazzy and my lil musicians are all ready for homes! I is a sweet, adorable, and playful pupster of around a year old that is super energetic and has that cuteness overload that will win over your heart with my charming personality, my corkscrew tail and my beautiful 2 different colored eyes. Did you know that there is an old Indian legend that those of us born with different eye colors can see both on earth and in heaven? Pretty cool, huh?! I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and playtime with my new family!! I loves to run around and play with toys and the other pups here in my foster home. I has a lot of energy and would be the perfect companion for just about any household. I would be that pawsomely perfect addition to your family as a 'sibling' or hogging all the attention as your one and only. I am looking forward to sharing in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting, so don't let my size fool you, I'm ready to join in and have a blast...doing it together! I do great with people both tall and small. Because I am just a pupster yet, when playing I can still get a little mouthy but I'm pretty gentle about it and if told 'nice' I stop. I get on great with my canine 'siblings' and once I got used to that strange creature y'all call a cat, I even do really well with them. I'll admit I wasn't sure what to make of the resident kitty at first and barked at her but after a few sniffs I figured she was A-Okay and not worth the fuss. Foster mom says I have been the perfect foster, being already house trained and not making any waves with my brothers and sisters. I had a few accidents the first day but have settled into the routine and have not had any since. I do use the crate when left alone. I'm not particularly fond of it but I'm pretty quiet until you get home and we can play again!! I sleep all night long and my favorite spot is with you in bed, of course!! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Buddy is a sweet and energetic 5 year old Pug mix boy who weighs around 25 lbs. Buddy loves to be outside and play with the other dogs. He knows very basic commands like sit, stay and no. He is very friendly and gets easily excited, always ready to cheer you up after a work day. Buddy wants to be everyone's friend and just wants to be loved.
