0225013 - Meet Luna! This adorable little low rider is around 11 months old and guessed to be a pug/dachshund mix. She is the perfect mix of playful and mellow - she loves running and playing with other pups but also knows how to chill out at home.  Luna is crate trained, potty trained, and a joy to have around. She loves to snuggle and be by her humans. She does well with dogs of all sizes, cats, and even kids. She has used a dog door in a foster home and is eager to please.  Luna is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. If you’re ready to welcome this bundle of joy into your life, apply today at sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2307857##

Story
Hello, I'm Mike and I really enjoy playing with other dogs and enjoy being around people as long as they know a few guidelines. I absolutely LOVE to snuggle with people.  I really like if you'll play ball with me or take walks together and while I'm thinking about it, other kinds of toys are a lot of fun too.  I'm great at watching movies because it lets me perfect my couch potato skills.   While I like to cuddle and get into the personal space of my people, I don't necessarily like to have my space invaded.  I enjoy head pets and will let you know when I am overwhelmed. I am very vocal.  I do have some rules and I need structure from my humans so that I don't take advantage and know my boundaries.   I would do best in a home with a patient person who is willing to take things slowly with me and enforce good boundaries for me.  It's mostly small things that help give me structure like reminding me to walk through doorways last and sit for food and treats.  Because I am a work in progress, I would not do well with children. I am kennel and potty trained, and good with other pets.  I won't eat your favorite shoes or chew on the furniture, And, do I even need to mention how cute I am?  Just look at my overbite, I know, it's hard to resist. Are you interested in meeting me and seeing if I could be your good buddy?  Please click on my link for more information and let my friends at Demi's know when we can play ball. All dogs are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, heartworm tested (if over 6 months old) and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, bordetella, rabies(if age appropriate) ) ##1677280##

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Meet Dino, a fun and energetic boy who also just so happens to be a tri-pawd! Dino was fostered with 3 children, 11-16 years old and 3 dogs ranging from 14-50lbs. Dino is crate trained, house broken, and the whole package, though he will whine in his crate at first to see if you'll give in. He actually really loves his crate and the very first time he met one of the kiddos in the home he was in there and did start growling. We've since introduced outside of the crate and no growls were heard and he was a happy boy giving all the licks and love. Dino can be a bit mouthy, not to be mistaken for bitey. He will gently mouth your hand while playing, we've started redirecting with toys and its gone well but will need reinforment in his new home. For this reason we'd like to place him in a home with no kids under 8. *I'm a tri-pawd* www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Meet “Tobin Puglsey” your new best friend! Tobin can’t wait to meet his forever family and share his love! He is the complete package—full of fun puppy energy but without all the teething and biting! He’s always ready for playtime, followed by a snuggle and a nap…then he’s up and ready to do it all over again! This sweet boy is friendly, energetic, and absolutely loves toys—especially plush ones and rubber balls. He’s been fostered with a high-energy cattle dog and has no trouble keeping up! After a good play session, his favorite place to be is snuggled up in your lap. Tobin has been great at sleeping through the night in his kennel. While he usually lets out a few whines at first because he misses his people and all the action, he settles down pretty quick. He’s also made great strides with potty training—he knows to go when he’s outside but is also able to use puppy pads when needed! Tobin is eager to learn and to please! He already has pretty good recall with his name and would thrive with a family ready to continue his training. I also believe he would do really well with another active playmate to help keep him entertained. Daily exercise and enrichment activities will continue to help him burn off his extra puppy energy. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Savoring her second chance at life, sweet, sweet 8-year-old Snoopy is now safely ensconced in her foster home. The 22-pound black and white beauty, so cute and so cuddly, LOVES snuggling with her foster mom, sitting on her lap, amusing her by walking around on two legs whenever she’s interested in something (like food), and sleeping under the covers at night. Always happy, always friendly, Snoopy gets along easily with the many children she’s met, calmly sitting by them, and she’s equally at ease with new people, warmly welcoming their affection. Moderately energetic, she enjoys going for walks, honing her leash skills along the way, running around with small toys and chewing on bones before relaxing for much of the day. Given that slow introductions suit Snoopy best when it comes to her canine companions, she occasionally plays with the resident puppy, is comfortable around the other dog, and does well with cats that set boundaries. Fond of Kongs filled with peanut butter, and motivated by food, toys and love, she currently knows “come,” “sit” and “off,” and while she’s not a fan of her crate, she’s almost fully house-trained. Now all sweet Snoopy needs is an especially loving home that will continue her socialization, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her in snuggles fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $100. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
