All applications will be reviewed and responded to by 12/26 Animal Profile: Daphne, Evie and Pixie were surrendered in San Bernardino when their owner was sited for having too many dogs. They are 1-year-old, 35-45lb poodle mixes that are friendly with people and other dogs. With those sweet eyes and scruffy faces, we know they’ll get scooped up fast in the PNW! Foster Update: Evie weighs a perfect 45lbs. She has settled into foster care quickly, and easily warmed up to her foster mom and dad. She is currently in a an apartment and doing well. She is curious about the world, and loves to go on sniffari adventures. Evie is affectionate and loves a good belly rub. She tolerates bathing, grooming (even tooth brushing!) and general coat maintenance well. Evie is non reactive to other dogs on walks, and would do best with a fellow canine companion in her forever home. She is working on her leash manners and will need continued training on basic obedience. She is too nervous around sudden movements and loud noises for us to consider homes with children under the age of 12. Her ideal home would have shy dog experience and a securely fenced yard. Evie sleeps soundly in her crate at night, and is doing great potty training. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 11/03. Story
Louis, a 6-year-old red standard poodle, was bought from local poodle breeder and has been a loving and playful companion ever since he was 8 weeks old. He enjoys sunny days spent playing fetch, eagerly chasing the ball for half an hour or more. Louis is a gentle, affectionate dog who thrives on human companionship and feels a deep sense of responsibility toward his family, though he’s not a guard dog by breed. With a sensitive stomach, which is common for poodles, Louis requires a carefully managed diet to stay healthy. Unfortunately, due to a newborn baby’s allergy to his drool, fur, and dander, we can no longer care for him. After much consideration, we are seeking a new home where he can continue to thrive and receive the love and attention he deserves. Louis would be a great fit for an active family who can offer him the companionship and care he craves. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate dog, Louis might be the perfect addition to your family.
