Story
Miller is an amazing mix who was found dumped on the side of the road in NC, horribly matted, and left to fend for himself with his brother Sid. They were rescued by amazing Good Samaritans who put them in boarding to keep them safe just before the arctic blast hit our area. They are now in a Hearts of the North foster home. Miller is about 3 years old and weighs 52lbs. He is a sweet, sensitive, mild mannered boy who is doing great with training. When he's is excited and happy, he will show you all his teeth in a cheeky little grin! Miller is currently living with other dogs big and small, is respectful of the cat, and has been exposed to children. He is a moderate energy level. Miller WILL NEED regular grooming with a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks. Please factor this into consideration and make sure the cost of this is within your means before applying to adopt.  ************************************Miller is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at https://bit.ly/HOTNADOPTUSA Adoption process:Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved. From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption. Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption. ##2289809##
