ABOUT ME... Hi! I'm Marley, a 2-year-old pup who has spent my whole life outside. I can be a bit anxious when I first meet new people, but I warm up quickly! I haven't had much attention before, so I absolutely love pets, cuddles, and treats! I recently discovered fetch, and I have a blast playing it with my foster mom in the backyard. I also enjoy our walks together, especially since she gives me treats along the way! Chewing on bones or having a toy nearby to play with makes me really happy. I am big bundle of love and energy! I AM GREAT WITH... Potty training and sleeping in my crate at night! I listen well to directions when I'm on my leash and I am very motivated by treats. I know basic commands like sit, lay down, eat, and go potty. Plus, I get along well with everyone, regardless of gender! I AM STILL WORKING ON... Not leading on walks because I can get a bit anxious if I see another dog or a new person. My foster mom stops to help me calm down with a treat, and that really helps! I am also learning about boundaries with both humans and other dogs, as I am still figuring out how to interact with them. I haven't had exposure to cats or children yet, so I'm not sure how I would react to them. I AM NOT GOOD WITH... Unfamiliar environments! I need some time to get comfortable in a new space before I can relax. I also struggle with "staying and can get easily spooked. I think this comes from spending my whole life outside and needing to protect myself. With a bit of time and patience, I'm confident I can overcome these challenges. **All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. Booster shots are included in the adoption fee and will be performed at our clinic, or the adopter can use their own vet at their expense. Adopters must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH. No transportation assistance is available.**
