Story
Meet Daisy:Daisy is the ultimate fair maiden princess. Not only are her locks long and luscious, but she also prances around like the princess she is. She’s the ultimate lap dog with her love of snuggles and can also play with her rowdy foster friends.Daisy is perfectly house trained and loves to adventure on walks in the neighborhood. Her eyes light up and she’ll dance in circles at the sight of a leash! She has fantastic manners in a crate and waits patiently to be let out.As any pampered princess will tell you, she likes the finer things in life. Private grooming days where her long flowing mane is treated to a loving brush out. She’s also a huge fan of delicious treats and eats with gusto. This princess would love to be an only dog, but doggie friends are okay as long as they realize the royalty that she is. Older kids are okay too, as long as they respect her space.Like a typical Pomeranian, she’s a bit spicy in the way she approaches life. She needs all humans and canines to respect her space. No extra close face snuggles or being startled awake by a human. It brings out her high maintenance self.Daisy came to Saving Hope Rescue as a stray by way of the Fort Worth Animal Shelter. The story goes that she was a frequent pickup for Animal Control as a stray but her family always came to pick her up… until they didn’t. This last time, the shelter waited a few extra days and her family still didn’t show up, but that’s when Saving Hope stepped up and took her in. In foster care, we’ve learned that she really is a family dog.Daisy is a standard Pomeranian and weighs about 20lbs.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Bree is being fostered in NJ. Her name is Bree but you could also call her Little Miss Perfect! Bree, Bree The cutest dog who cannot see Soft and furry is her coat When on your lap, you will surely dote She dreams of her own forever family For your love and loyalty she does plea Yes, Bree loves poetry! She also loves snuggles, treats, sniffing around the yard, and squeaky toys. Bree was an only dog for most of her life. Then she arrived at our crazy home and had to adjust to sharing everything with the other dogs. She is now a well-mannered, affectionate, friendly little gal. Bree adjusted to her foster home with no problem and immediately found her way around. She makes a cute low grumbling sound when she needs to go outside or wants the water bowl filled up. Just don't bother her when she is eating - she is very serious about meal time! Bree has the playfulness of a puppy - if you bring Bree into your family, have plenty of squeaky toys on hand. She loves to destroy them to get the squeaker out! Bree is also happy to sit on your lap or next to you as you relax. She enjoys "watching" TV and is a big Phillies fan. Her favorite player is Brandon Marsh - Bree likes his long beard. She is also an excellent car rider. Bree knows to "sit" when receiving a treat. And she does expect a treat when she comes back inside from going potty. Bree mostly sleeps in her own dog bed at night, but will sometimes want to sleep in the bed next to someone. As with any blind dog, Bree can be startled by a sudden noise or touch. She would do best with older children (over age 6). She needs to be introduced slowly to other dogs. Bree prefers a private dining experience. Even though Bree is a senior dog, she has plenty of playful years ahead of her and will be a joy to any family who adopts her. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: We believe he has CDL (color dilute alopecia) which makes him partially hairless. ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Lothar is a really good happy boy. He is very shy at first but once he warms up, he is a total lover! However, he is not fond of strangers. He will normally attach himself to calm low voiced peopled. He can be rather dramatic when he's scared of someone. He's young but his time in the hoarding home has scarred him. Sadly, he would do best in a home with one or two people and not many visitors. He gets along with other dogs but does not like them in his face. He also does not play with the dogs. He prefers his human over his doggie pals.  -- Where did he come from: He came to us as part of a hoarding intake group.  Adoption: ***** $100.00 ***** Weight: 8.60 lbs. Approximate age: 11/14/2021 ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.-------- November 4, 2024, 11:59 am

She is currently taking Lasix, vetmedin, and Benazepril to treat her heart condition.   ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Daisy, a 14-year-old senior pup, is a resilient and loving companion who sleeps in a crate all night and requires frequent outdoor breaks. Despite being blind and deaf, Daisy has adapted well to her surroundings and is a seasoned traveler. She has a hearty appetite and enjoys spending time outdoors, where she can explore. Daisy is a laid-back pup who loves to nap and is great with both kids and adults. She adores being carried and rarely barks, making her an ideal furry friend for a caring family. --  Where did she come from: She was surrendered to the Mesquite Shelter when the family could no longer care for her. Sadly, her owner was deployed overseas and asked that she find a new home.   Adoption: ***** $200.00 ***** Weight: 9.2 lbs.
