Story
Hi everyone, my name is Furby. I am a handsome Parti Pomeranian and weigh 4.6lbs. I am just a fourteen-week-old - my birthday is 7/7/24. I am started on my shots and worming schedule and have been treated for any issues I came in with. Parti Pomeranians are intelligent, sociable, and affectionate. You can always depend on your Parti Pomeranian to be by your side and make you smile. I am very playful, and I enjoy playing with my siblings, other dogs and my toys but I also enjoy getting love and cuddles. Since I am a Parti Pomeranian, I will make a great family pet as I am very loyal. Due to my small size, I am more prone to injury if mishandled or stepped on so I would do best in a home with older children and smaller pups. Hopefully you will be my new forever home. Please if you are interested in adding me to your family get your applications in. You can go to www.hopeforhannahrescue.org or just copy the direct link below and paste it into your search bar. The direct link to our application can be found here- https://ueodqi9fe3f.typeform.com/to/sFwghRQN - Copy and Paste If you have any problems, call Suzi (717) 466-5968 and I will be happy to assist you.

Story
Hi, I'm Enid! I've had a tough start in life, coming from a puppy mill, and I'm still learning how to trust the world around me. I can be pretty shy and often feel nervous, but I do love food-it's one of the things that makes me feel a little braver! I really think having another dog in the home could help me build my confidence and feel more at ease. I need someone who can offer me some extra time and patience as I adjust to a loving environment. A quiet household would be ideal for me, especially one without little toddlers running around, as I can get overwhelmed easily. I know there's a beautiful life out there waiting for me, and I just need someone like you to help show me that it doesn't have to be scary. If you're looking for a gentle soul to help guide and nurture, I would love the chance to be part of your family! Let's take this journey together! Story
PLEASE READ BELOW FOR OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK MEET PETE the PEEKAPOM North New Jersey This adorable little boy with the cutest little toopheses you've ever seen is a black with white mask and toes, male Pekingese – Pomeranian mix (PeekaPom), 13 lbs., and around 6-7 years old. He is a FUN and FUNNY little guy. He LOVES to play with toys, dogs, you, whatever, he's not fussy. He tosses his toy around in the air and then jumps to catch it himself! He will chase a tossed ball for as long as you'll throw it. And he will entertain himself in general sniffing around, chewing on a nylabone, or taking naps in the sun. He is a VERY affectionate little guy and has done well learning boundaries while here. He is now quite independent and has learned the routine. In fact, sometimes his foster mom has to drag him out of the bedroom to come outside with the others! He sleeps on a doggie bed next to his foster mom’s bed at night but would definitely LOVE to sleep in bed with his person. He snuggles on the couch while watching tv, etc. He has a blast playing with the other pups in his foster home so would be nice for him to have another fur friend to play with but it is not necessary as long as he has a human around for most of the day. He is more of the submissive type and is afraid of alpha bullies. So no mean doggies in his new home! He is also afraid of small children so tweenagers and up please. His xrays were normal, blood work was good, and physical exam perfect! Thus, he made his way into surgery for a dental and to get his cherry eye removed. He was extremely well behaved at the vet and groomer. He will need eye drops for dry eye and eye pressure for life. He is UTD, HW negative, neutered, dewormed, dental, housebroken, and full of love. Adoption donation is $450. TO BE CONSIDERED, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION We only process complete applications and providing false information immediately disqualifies you from adopting. https://gingerbreaddogs.org/adopt-overview/adoption-application/ Please follow our Facebook page to see new dogs as they arrive and to keep up on the daily shenanigans: https://www.facebook.com/gingerbreaddogs ABOUT OUR PROCESS: WE ONLY CONTACT APPLICANTS WITH WHOM WE WANT TO MOVE FORWARD. We typically get in touch within 24-48 hours, but it may take up to 10 days. Please watch your email and answer your phone (from 201 area code) after you submit an application. Unfortunately, we do not have the manpower to reply to all applicants. We also do not have the manpower to accept phone calls. Everything we know about the dog is posted above. Our adoption process is on our website. You can see more about our daily operations on our Facebook page. PLEASE give your vet office permission to speak with rescues if you are applying to adopt from any rescue. Ask them to mark your file. If they will not speak with us, we will move on to the next application and you will not be considered. We consider out-of-area adoptions on a case-by-case basis. All meet & greets and adoptions are held in north New Jersey, and we do not transport our pups. You must come to NJ. We also do not “hold” dogs. It is “first qualified, first come” and our expectation is you will move quickly to conduct the meet & greet if you are approved. An approved application does not guarantee adoption of any dog from our rescue, and we reserve the right to deny adoption at any point during the process.

Story
Meet Troy! We were excited to get a surrender request for one of our favorite breeds, doxies! But this little imposter showed up instead 😔 It’s ok, he’s cute and sweet but we don’t see much doxie in him 😳 He’s 8.5 years old, 23lbs full grown, and looks more like corgi/pom/Jack Russell/chihuahua? Surrendered only because of the new baby’s allergies and not any issues with him, he’s a little shy but warms up fast and is needy and cuddly. He likes other dogs, was crate-trained and housebroken in his previous home, and just a gentle all around nice little dog. He’s off to the vet for a many years overdue neuter and dental and will be ready for a fresh start very soon. The perfect age, a young healthy senior who loves his walks and will be a wonderful companion to a young adult or senior alike. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet Troy in Northern NJ. Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Submit an application from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com to speed up the adoption process and email any questions to us at njwoof@cs.com. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.

Story
Oakley, is a very social, sweet, adorable little male Pomeranian that loves to be held and loves to snuggle. This 5-pound little guy was born on 11/19/21. He was born with malformed knees, also called stifles, which cause him to move with somewhat lowered hindquarters like he is getting ready to sit or squat. However, this does not slow him down and when he hears his name called, he comes running. Oakley is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. Due to his small size he will not be considered for homes with small children. Oakley is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $600 and the transport fee$165. If you would like to adopt Oakley, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. href="http://dhd.coffeecup.com/forms/bhsapp/">You can find a copy of that application here.
