She is definitely a cuddle bug (mainly with her chosen person). She follows her foster momma everywhere, and while she does well with men, women are the apple of her eye. Rosebud is a demanding diva and can be very vocal when she's not happy, wants something, or is missing her person. Once she settles into a routine, her vocal demands do diminish. She would NOT do well in an apartment with attached neighbors due to this and certainly must go to someone who can deal with her chatter. She gets along well with other dogs, ignoring them for the most part. We think cats would be fine but we are not 100% on this. She is more focused on her person who spoils her. Did we mention she's spoiled? She is sweet but headstrong. She has gotten better eating her food, but food certainly isn't her main focus. Rosebud has crystals in her urine and does eat canned prescription food to ensure she doesn't develop stones. She will walk on a leash if she wants to, but there again it is hit or miss, so a fenced yard would be ideal. She will go outside for potty, but also will go in the house. She does tend to use the piddle pads , but will go other places if not supervised and kept on a schedule. Carpets are not safe, and if you have them, expect to invest in a shampooer. We are sure once she has adjusted to her surroundings, she will settle, but it isn't going to be a quick transition with her, so patience is a must. Rosebud lived her life a spoiled diva princess with elderly family, so kids are not ideal unless short visits from family. We got this tiny spitfire fixed up, now she is ready to roll to her happily ever after to continue her reign as Queen Rosebud!
