Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. As this adorable soul was found wondering the streets with another little sidekick, ODAAT is still learning about Banzai.  At this point we believe he would prefer to be a spoiled only dog. His guestimated age is around 7 years old and has a lot of love to give despite his rough arrival to ODAAT.  We will update his profile as we learn more about him.  But don’t wait to apply for him if those pretty brown eyes are speaking to you right now.  This handsome boy is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Application can be found on our website at www.onedogatatime.us Thank you for considering adoption through ODAAT. Our dedication to our animals goes beyond finding them a home; we aim to match them with families where they will thrive and receive the love and care that they so desperately deserve.  We believe in finding not just homes, but forever families for our beloved animals. Our thorough adoption process is designed to ensure that each furry friend finds the perfect match based on their unique needs and personalities. Please know that we do not rush this process, as we prioritize compatibility over speed. Your patience and understanding as we work towards finding the ideal match for both our rescues and your family means the world to us. Story
Sissie is an absolute love bug that thinks if 1 minutes goes by without being held, that is 1 minute too many! This little social butterfly weighs 5 pounds and knows that is just the perfect size for canine arm candy. She was born 11/19/21. Sissie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain her good health. Due to her small size she will not be considered for homes with small children. Sissie is located in Arkansas. Her adoption donation is $800 plus a $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Sissie please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. href="http://dhd.coffeecup.com/forms/bhsapp/">You can find a copy of that application here. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Oakley is a very social, sweet, adorable little male Pomeranian that loves to be held and loves to snuggle. This 5-pound little guy was born on 11/19/21. He was born with malformed knees, also called stifles, which cause him to move with somewhat lowered hindquarters like he is getting ready to sit or squat. However, this does not slow him down and when he hears his name called, he comes running. Oakley is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. Due to his small size he will not be considered for homes with small children. Oakley is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $600 and the transport fee is $165. Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Geneva came into rescue as a stray that nobody has ever claimed. She was found dodging traffic and thankfully a kind person was able to scoop her up before she got hit. The finder happened to bring her to one of our wonderful fosters who took her in. She has reached out to vets, shelters, and even the agency for the aging, in hopes of finding her owner's but no such luck. We will be getting her vaccinated, spayed, etc. and then she'll be ready for adoption. We believe she is a purebred Pomeranian. She appears to be a young adult and weighs 12 pounds. She is completely housetrained. She is friendly. She is good with other dogs. She's a great little dog! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
