Hi, Meet Rocky- an almost 3 year old, 30 lb Shiba Inu- Pomeranian mix. Overall a good dog, house-trained but has anxiety. He is good and loving with his family, and people he has met regularly, but takes time to warm up to strangers. He has spitz guard dog instincts, so will bark at the door if people are outside or ringing the bell. I believe he would do well in a house in a suburb or Rural environment with a large fenced in yard to get his energy out, with more mature children (5+), and possibly some mature friendly dogs for him to develop a pack with. He is fearful of other dogs, though I believe in the right environment with experienced, patient dogs, he could overcome this. Unfortunately we have a toddler, newborn, and a townhouse, we don't think we can meet his needs. If you have experience taking in dogs like Rocky, and meet the requirements above, please reach out.

We’ve just welcomed a baby and unfortunately, we no longer have the time to give him the care and attention he deserves. He weighs 15 lbs and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations. While he has a playful and loving personality, he does have some barking tendencies, especially when the mailman comes. He thrives on attention, daily walks, and consistent care, so we are looking for an experienced dog owner who has the time and patience to give him a happy, active life. Daisy is 11 weeks old. she was surrendered with siblings because they were to old to be sold in a retail market. Located in boarding in the midwest. Adoption fee is 950 and includes transport to the Northeast or Southeast. You pay adoption fee when you pick up. All are friendly and get along well with others. Needs work on house training Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application.
