Story
Hi, I`m Blizzard!Named so, because like the storm how i come in steal the show and your heart with my smile and silly Pomski antics.! Don`t let my `special finn` steer you away because it doesn`t effect my life style at all! It in fact gives a little more pizazz to my personality! My Vet`s say as it doesn`t cause me any pain or get in my way my so my little dangle foot is just cosmetic! My foster parents say they think I`m perfect just the way I am, and honestly. I can`t blame them, because yea.. I`m the bee`s knee`s! I love to go on adventures and smell all the rad smells but if you are more of a just wanna chill and binge some Netflix that is completely my jam too. I pretty much like to do whatever you like to do because I really love my people when I know you`re here to stay. I dig my furr-foster siblings, don`t even care too much about those weird cat one`s either. I`m just really looking for love in all the right places with my hooman friends help. So, can you look past my little dangle foot, and the fact I will sprinkle my hair glitter all over everything you`ve ever loved and held dear by becoming my happy ever after today.?

Story
Groot has the cutest white heart on the top of his head and with that black mask around his eyes...I think he should be named 'Bandit' as he will steal your heart...but he does know his name when you call him. He got his neuter surgery and shots last Friday at our Rescue Partner, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay! HSTB also looked at his teeth and decided that the 4 remaining baby teeth they saw...needed to also come out too! So if your interested in adopting 6 month old Groot...here are a few things I have learned about him: * He has separation anxiety and wants to be with you at all times! * He HATES being in his crate and will scream, whine and scratch the inside of his airline crate until you go get him out! His first night I tried 'tough love' an lost 9 hours of sleep as he never gave up or settled down! * He is NOT potty trained yet...so pee pads and male wraps will be needed to avoid accidents in the House! He is learning from my dogs to pee outside...but it is not a habit yet. He was originally trained to use pee pads...but again he is a puppy and even that is Not guaranteed. *If you adopt you need to commit to completing his training. He will come to his name being called...but again that is not guaranteed. lol * He is a quick learner...but you have to remain consistent and repeat what you wish him to learn. Praise him lavishly when he gets anything right!! * He loves to chew on his leash...he is learning...but still resents being restrained. * He is timid at first with new people and new things or sounds. Once he warms up and knows he can trust you...he is a lot more confident! I have 4 large dogs who scared him when he first arrived...but now he is just one of the gang! If you are willing to invest the time and effort to be patient with him and train him...he will be your best little buddy! To apply to adopt him...please go to our website at www.stfrancisrescue.org and click on the Adoptable Dog tab and then click on his picture. If his picture is not showing then someone else has already filled out his application. If his picture is missing and you are still interested...please leave a comment below and if he becomes available again...I will contact you. The St Francis Dog Team allows a week trial stay in your home before we make the adoption final...and it isn't always a good match once the pet gets into your home for a few days. If that happens then you just return Groot to us and we return your adoption fee and try again with another adopter. We want to ensure that everyone is happy with your new family member!!! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 *Please note that the St Francis Dog Team only adopts out to the immediate Tampa Bay areaJanuary 27, 2025, 1:15 pm
