Hi, I’m Winter! I’m a 9-year-old, 9-lbs Pomsky (Pomeranian-Husky blend). Throughout the year, I’ll keep you warm with my loving, loyal, sweet and silly personality.
General Behavior: With the beauty of a husky, a petite size, and a wonderful personality, Winter is a stunning girl with a lot of love to give. She acts young for her age and is a puppy at heart, but still loves crashing on the sofa with her person. She will always have your back!
Likes & Dislikes: This social butterfly loves meeting new people and trying new snacks.
Training: Winter is a smart cookie who generally has good basic manners. She is housetrained if let out frequently. She walks well on a leash, loves going on car rides, and even sleeps on the human bed at night. She is very food motivated and would probably learn tricks easily; anything to please her human.
Medical: Winter is a healthy girl! She just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.
Other Animals: This sociable sweetheart just wants to be everyone’s friend. She does well with other small dogs. She hasn’t been observed around cats but her foster thinks she’d be OK with them.
Children: This gentle gal needs a home with calm, understanding children only (age 8+),
Home: Winter would do best in a single family home because she does love to bark and to visit with people and/or pups.
Grooming: Winter’s coat sheds seasonally. Luckily, she loves being brushed!
Overall: Winter will make an affectionate, loyal companion for an active family who can love her forever.
