Story
MEET BUNNY! Bunny's journey is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of love. Discovered living amidst the dangers of a construction site and facing threats from workers, Bunny's early life was far from easy. But her path led her to us, and with a bit of patience and care, she has blossomed into a wonderful companion. Bunny is wonderfully trained—she’s comfortable in her crate, fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a calm and happy passenger in the car. However, she has made it clear that she cannot coexist with cats—there are no exceptions to this rule. She does, however, get along well with other well-balanced dogs and enjoys the camaraderie of a pack. Bunny is not just stunningly beautiful; she’s also incredibly kind-hearted. For the ideal adopters, a high fence is a must. Bunny has proven that she can climb any chain-link fence with ease, so her new home needs to be secure. If you're looking for a loyal and loving addition to your family, Bunny just might be the perfect fit. To add Bunny to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2145623##

Meet Tank – Your New Adventure Buddy! Tank is a playful and energetic boy with a zest for life and a heart full of love. This smart, lovable pup is ready to bring joy and fun to his forever home. Whether you're hiking a trail, splashing in the water, or simply lounging at home, Tank is the perfect companion. At just the right balance of brains and brawn, Tank is crate trained, potty trained, and eager to please. He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even cat-friendly! His love for water activities makes him a natural for beach days or afternoons at the lake, and he’s always up for a car ride to new adventures. Tank is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and in great health. He’s more than just a good boy—he’s a great one! If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and loving addition to your family, Tank is ready to be your new best friend. While Tank is great with children, we believe he would thrive best in a home with older kids (10+). His playful energy and enthusiasm might be a bit too much for smaller children, as he could accidentally knock them over. Tank's ideal family will be ready to match his spirited personality and enjoy plenty of fun together! To add Tank to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. Meet Bran – the Sweetest Little Snuggle Bug! Bran is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy with a heart of gold, just waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy might be a little timid when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy for life. Bran absolutely loves snuggling up with his humans and thrives on affection and attention. Bran has been raised around multiple dogs and has no aggression at all – he’s truly a kind soul who loves the company of others, both canine and human. He’s also comfortable with cats and has been around our kitten, so he’d likely do well in a home with cats or other furry friends. With a healthy appetite and a love for chew bones, Bran has some favorite treats that he enjoys during his downtime. While Bran is a pro at sitting on command, he’s still working on his potty training skills (about 75% of the way there!). He’s a quick learner and, with patience and consistency, will pick it up in no time. He’s comfortable in his crate, sleeping through the night and resting peacefully when his people are out. Bran would make a wonderful addition to almost any household, whether you have other pets or he’s your one-and-only. His sweet, adaptable nature means he’d fit in well with just about any family. He’s ready to shower his new family with love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles! To add Bran to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. Story
Hi, I am Nikki,I am a young adult who is very calm for my age. I still like to chew things but if you give me a good chew toy that works for me. I am full-grown and a medium size dog around 45 lbs./23 kgs or so. I love to be active, walking running, and playing frisbee on the beach. I still have lots of things to learn and would love a family of my own who would take the time to teach me the right way to do things. I am pretty good walking on a leash but of course, I prefer to be off leash to be free to run. I can be a bit shy with other dogs that I don't know but once I get to know them we can play, play, play!If you are looking to have a great dog who will love you loyally forever, then we could be a great match. Just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Your Nikki. To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hi, I am Nutella, because I am the sweetest and good for you too!Thank you for checking out my profile, I hope you like what you see. I am an active young girl. I love nothing better than to go for a run or a hike with my people. Playing games that I can get exercise and fun is the best. All dogs are fun to play with!. I love balls and teething rings are my favorite; you know the ones you can have for babies? I will even return them to you if you throw them for me. I am pretty possessive of my toys and may not want to share them with other dogs.I am a smart girl, I learned how to use the doggie door to go outside for potty all by myself!Like I said I still have many things to learn but I am working on some basic commands like sit and stay. I know how to give a paw and my foster mom says that is so cute. I walk on a leash but sometimes I still pull if I see something interesting. I still prefer to run free.Right now, I spend a lot of time outside but I really would like to have a house to be in all the time. If you like what you hear and think I would be a good fit for your family, fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give.Nutella To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Calliope! She is an energetic and playful girl who is ready for her forever home! Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is around 2 years old. Calliope is very active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. Hiking, walks/runs, and a large, securely fenced yard to run would be ideal for her. She is very sweet but can get over excited and will need continuation of basic obedience as well as leash manners and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.
