adoption donation : $650 weight 40 lbs  Age: 4 years              Maddie is the sweetest! She is a loving friendly girl who gets along with everyone she meets. Maddie has been with the same family in Mississippi for her whole life, sadly her mom was recently hospitalized and so she was taking in by relatives who can’t keep her. Wags stepped  in to help, promising the family that they will find a wonderful home for this good girl.      Maddie  loves kids, she grew up with them. She has no aggression whatsoever, her tail never stops wagging. She plays wonderfully with other dogs, she’s a little afraid of cats! Maddie is up-to-date on her vaccines and has been spayed, she is ready for a loving family of her own. will make a wonderful member of the family.     Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Story
Meet Denron, the best friend you’ve been waiting for! This big-hearted pup is full of love and loyalty, and once you meet those golden eyes, you’ll be smitten. Denron is a playful, energetic guy who loves romping around in the yard and would thrive with a fellow dog buddy to keep him company. He’s not just about fun—Denron is crate trained, knows how to sit, and does his business outside like a champ. He’s even made friends with cats, although he was a little curious at first! Denron is wonderful with kids and enjoys taking walks, playing with toys, and cuddling when it’s time to relax.Though he’s still working on being left unsupervised in the house, he doesn’t fuss in his crate unless he needs a potty break. Denron is the full package—loving, smart, and eager to be your lifelong companion. Anyone who adopts him will be incredibly lucky to call him their best friend!!! Story
Hello, my name is Jasper. I was named after the gemstone, Jasper. I am as sweet as a sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. My new family has to like a fellow with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Terra and Osa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life. Happily, 2 years ago I was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. Please request an application, place a deposit to start my journey home. Jasper Male Neutered Breed English Pointer mix color White and black Age 5 yrs old Weight 45lbs Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies Adoption Donation $355 Carlton Rescue- Operation Puppy Love 501c3 ❤️ 🐾 🐾 ❤️ (Like us on Facebook)

Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Kids 16 +Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLilac is a sweet, lazy girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can play some fetch and then curl up in the dog bed and take a nap (her two favorite things). Lilac is wonderful with other dogs when properly introduced, and she loves to play. She would love a fenced yard to romp in. She can be leash reactive to new dogs, and though she has improved with training, this will always be something she needs to work on. For this reason, proper intros are a must with her.  She is also ecollar trained. so her perfect home would continue this training with her. She excels with structure and routine.Where Lilac still struggles greatly is with meeting new people in the home. Outside the home, and even a the vet, she is generally fine. When people that she does not know very very well come into the home, Lilac should be crated, leashed, or muzzled. She needs to be slowly introduced to new people, but once she gets to know you very very well, she's all in and is the kissiest, snuggliest girl.  She is even very sweet to pretty much everyone while muzzled, so that's an easy fix to keep her safe.  When people she does not know come into the home, she can get vocal,  but when introduced while muzzled she does fine.  Because of her reactivity to new people, a single family home is the best fit for her. She would not do well in an apartment. Lilac has had a long road, and while she has come a long way, she is very much still a work in progress. With the right family she will do just fine.Lilac's issues have happened in the past when her intros to new people coming into the home were not controlled.  So I can't emphasize enough that she needs to take it slow with new people :) But she will reward you for sure once you get to know her. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at http://www.lasthopek9.org/ Questions?
