Story
Sweet, soulful, and finally free – meet Billy’s Butterbean.Butterbean spent the first five years of her life on a chain, but you’d never know it by the love she gives today. In just a short time, Butterbean has mastered potty training, crate training, and leash walking like a pro. She’s calm, quiet, and full of love. Butterbean adores children, women, and men alike. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and even has a soft spot for cats. She’s the kind of dog that just fits right in—easy-going, affectionate, and always ready to curl up next to you for a cuddle.Billy’s Butterbean is ready for a forever home where she’ll never know chains again—just couches, belly rubs, and kind people. Story
Pepper is one of those dogs who steals your heart the moment you meet him—not just because he’s incredibly sweet and soft (seriously, his fur feels like a cloud), but because he’s so smart, it’s almost unfair. If Pepper were in school, he’d be the quiet genius who aces every test, leads the chess club, and surprises everyone with a perfect sense of humor. His early life was rough—Pepper suffered neglect as a puppy, including being hit and thrown by a young boy, which left him sore and scared. He still has a yellow stain in his fur from something being poured on him. But when someone saw what was happening, they stepped in and asked our rescue to help. And despite everything, Pepper has done the most incredible thing—he forgave. This precious boy doesn’t act afraid or broken. Instead, he’s patient, loving, and full of joy. He absolutely adores people and clearly misses having someone to love on. He’s a gentle, precious soul who thrives on attention and companionship.Pepper also loves other dogs and is always ready to play! Because he went hungry as a puppy, he’s still working on his food manners—he is very protective of his food around other dogs, so he needs to be fed by himself.Leash training is going well.Foster is working with him on housetraining and crate training. Right now, he is not very fond of his crate and gets a bit anxious and nervous when inside. But he learns quickly, listens well, and genuinely wants to make his people happy. With a little guidance and understanding, he’ll continue to gain understanding.Whether you’re looking for a snuggly best friend, a playmate for your pup, or a loyal family companion, Pepper is ready to be all of that and more. Oh—and did we mention how ridiculously soft he is? And those floppy ears? Just the cherry on top of this perfect pup.Name: PepperBreed: English Pointer/DalmatianSex: MaleAge: 23 weeksWeight: 25.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date.
