We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. Meet Trenton! This good boy is the whole package! He is a mixed breed, best guess English pointer/boxer mix, and no one breed is evident. He is 2-year-old medium sized (55 pound) love bug who is gentle and adores kids. He is house trained. It does not appear he has been taught basic commands, but he should be a quick learner as he learned the doggy door ropes in a single day. The crate is not his favorite. He will go in when bribed with delicious treats and sleep quietly through the night. He mimics the vibe of the house by playing when we are active and snuggling on couch when we are quiet. He also gets along with other dogs, playing or backing off at the appropriate times. As he has settled into his foster home, he has started wrestling with the alpha dog of the house. Trenton deserves someone who will shower him with attention, car rides and rounds of fetch. He is everyone’s best friend, can he be yours? Trenton is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, flea and heartworm medication.

Hi! BILLY RAY here!I am a handsome friendly 2-3 year old male pointer mix (they think) that weighs 39 pounds. Im a little short for a full pointer so maybe I have a little short hound in me too! I heard a volunteer say I was a cute micro pointer, whatever that is. I do take treats very gently and am a good boy in the car. When I had my indoor photo session I was so excited and sniffed everywhere. I eventually calmed down and looked at the camera nicely. I really like people and am friendly at first meeting. Buck is around 7yrs old and is very healthy. He enjoys sitting in your lap, going for walks, and or playing with dog toys. Buck is a kind and gentle dog and gets along with other animals very well. He is house trained and loves to be around his people. About 4yrs ago we adopted Buck from SICSA for my oldest son who is autistic. My son has since graduated from high-school and is going to college full time and working 20-30hrs a week. The amount of time Buck has to be in his kennel isn't fair to him and is giving him anxiety. He really needs a new home and we are completely out of options.
