Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Willow was adopted from Pack Leader Rescue back in 2019. She is a pointer mix around 65lbs. She does suffer from anxiety and is currently on fluoxetine to help offset this. She is normally the sweetest girl but she can be aggressive and reactive and this has led to a handful of incidents. She does live with another dog now and they’re fantastic together but doesn’t get along with any other dog. We unfortunately despite many efforts just can’t trust her around our infant son. She needs a home without children and other pets and would do well with consistent training. We loved her so much and she’s really a great dog most of the time but we cannot provide the best environment for her at this time

Story
**Meet Birdie Bean!** This sweet 6-month-old English Pointer (and yes, her name is Birdie for a reason!) is as lovable as she is playful. Weighing in at 38 pounds, Birdie is already potty trained, crate trained, and has a ton of energy to burn. She’s a fetch enthusiast and will happily chase after anything you throw—though she’s still working on bringing it back every time! She's great on a leash and can entertain herself for hours in a fenced yard. Birdie is a social butterfly who gets along great with other dogs, whether big or small. She warms up to everyone very quickly, especially when she realizes you're her new best friend. She would also be great with older kids. Birdie is smart, affectionate, and sweet. She’s got a laid-back side too — if you let her, she’d happily curl up next to you for hours. This brave little pup was found on Christmas Eve on a cold and rainy night in Texas. She was found abandoned by a boat with fireworks going off nearby. She was so scared that she jumped right into her foster’s EV, ready to find safety and love! Since then, she’s blossomed into a happy, affectionate companion who can’t wait to find her forever family. If you're looking for a smart, loving, and playful pup to bring joy to your home, Birdie Bean just might be the one for you! We can drive this pup to your area!
