He would enjoy a loving home that provides him with patience and an energy outlet (whether daily walks or daycare). He enjoys playing with other dogs and can be rough but is good at taking cues. He has largely ignored cats down south, so would likely do fine with a feline sibling. Caspian has interacted well with kids and would likely be fine with a dog savvy kid in the home.He is crate-trained, mostly house-trained and is primarily accident free in his foster home on a routine. Caspian is used to being crated. He sleeps quietly all night and will ocassionally whine/bark if he realizes he's missing out on the fun but is easily corrected. He does well on the leash and enjoys his daily walks.Caspian has so much love to give and is ready to jump into his next chapter- is he the one you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. She is very smart, eager to please and an adoring companion to her humans!Millie loves her walks and takes time to stop and investigate all of the sights and smells of nature. She excels at entertaining herself chewing bones and tossing and chasing her ball. She enjoys running, wrestling, and playing keep away with her dog friends. Millie is very athletic and could be a great running companion or candidate for agility. She is fully crate trained and snoozes away the day between meals, walks and playtime.Millie’s perfect home would be on the quieter side with adults or older, calmer children where she is given lots of affection.  Millie is very good in the car and will jump in and out on her own and would love to be included in adventures! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Do you love backyard ZOOMIES ? So does Milo - and he is looking for a forever home This PAL is *Hearing Impaired* so he won’t ever judge you for singing in the shower or a bad joke ‍ Couch cuddles, belly rubs, and butt scratches are Milo’s love language. Despite his hearing, he is the typical dog that enjoys leisurely walks, lounging around, peanut butter, and chasing squirrels. Milo sleeps in his crate every night, hasn’t had any accidents with his foster and - he is a pretty chill guy!  Milo would love a home thats as chill as he is, where he can hang with his people and just be loved on.  Since he is hearing impaired, a home with large breed dog experience that doesn’t have a ton of action is a best fit Milo Highlights:@5 yo/50 lbs mixed breedCrate TrainedMedium EnergyHousebroken Loves CuddlingGood on LeashNeutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped Milo is a true example of a gals best pal_______________Fostered in Massachusetts- Apply today  please remember we are all volunteers, incomplete applications will not be processed If you are interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application and we will reach out to you within 48 hours to start the approval process.  https://galsbestpal.com/adoption/ It’s ok if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, we are experts in matchmaking and can talk with you and figure out what PAL would be a good fit for your home!  If you would like to inquire about saving a life & becoming a FOSTER HERO, please fill out an application and a FOSTER HEROES TEAM volunteer will reach out to you to go over our lifesaving foster based rescue program! https://galsbestpal.com/foster/ To learn more about our mission, and to join our mailing list go to https://galsbestpal.com/ Follow us on FB and Instagram for extra photos, updates & videos of our available dogs. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Kids 16 +Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLilac is a sweet, lazy girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can play some fetch and then curl up in the dog bed and take a nap (her two favorite things). Lilac is wonderful with other dogs when properly introduced, and she loves to play. She would love a fenced yard to romp in. She can be leash reactive to new dogs, and though she has improved with training, this will always be something she needs to work on. For this reason, proper intros are a must with her.  She is also ecollar trained. so her perfect home would continue this training with her. She excels with structure and routine.Where Lilac still struggles greatly is with meeting new people in the home. Outside the home, and even a the vet, she is generally fine. When people that she does not know very very well come into the home, Lilac should be crated, leashed, or muzzled. She needs to be slowly introduced to new people, but once she gets to know you very very well, she's all in and is the kissiest, snuggliest girl.  She is even very sweet to pretty much everyone while muzzled, so that's an easy fix to keep her safe.  When people she does not know come into the home, she can get vocal,  but when introduced while muzzled she does fine.  Because of her reactivity to new people, a single family home is the best fit for her. She would not do well in an apartment. Lilac has had a long road, and while she has come a long way, she is very much still a work in progress. With the right family she will do just fine.Lilac's issues have happened in the past when her intros to new people coming into the home were not controlled.  So I can't emphasize enough that she needs to take it slow with new people :) But she will reward you for sure once you get to know her. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
