Stella was originally found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, where a family friend adopted her. When their circumstances changed and they could no longer care for her, we welcomed Stella into our home so she wouldn’t have to return to the shelter. She’s had a lot of transition for a young dog, and now she deserves a forever home where she can finally settle in for good. Stella is a gentle, affectionate 2-year-old lab/pointer mix who bonds closely with her people. She does wonderfully with children and gets along well with other friendly dogs. However, she doesn’t do well with babies or cats, so she needs a home without either. What Stella wants most is companionship. She thrives in a calm, consistent environment and does best when someone is home most of the time. She would be an ideal match for someone who works from home or retirees looking for a loving, loyal companion. Due to her fear of crates, Stella needs a home where she can relax in open, comfortable spaces.

In 2020, Christopher accepted a new job in Idaho and kindly asked us to watch Nala for a month. My husband and I have been Nala's loving home for the past five years, but we are relocating and need to find a suitable new home for her. Nala weighs 62 lbs, is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. Nala has a calm and loving demeanor, getting along well with adults, children, other dogs, and cats. She is house trained, does not bark, and enjoys running, jumping, and catching a ball. Nala is a joy!!!

I'm a big male of about 90 lbs. I broke my leg back in 2019 so having to have crate rest to heal put on the extra pounds. I do have a few doggie friends that I go out with but I'm okay being a loner and enjoying naps.
