Story
We adopted Kailey when she was just 8 weeks old from Charleston, SC and she is now 9. She is the gentlest dog I have ever met. Her demeanor is perfect for households with children or other animals. She loves attention and being pet and will always love to cuddle. Her and her sister Jordan are always together and follow each other everywhere. A new home for them must have loving owners. They grew up with a lot of attention and love from my wife and I, so I wouldn't want them to lose that. Their first few years were spent in a house with a backyard and the last 3 have been spent at an apartment complex. Bonded dog is Jordan. We would like them to be adopted together. Jordan is 7 years old. The vet says she's a terrier/something mix. The description for Jordan is the same as Kailey's. She loves to cuddle and be close. She is more energetic than Kailey though and loves to play, whereas Kailey would rather explore outside or be pet versus playing fetch.

Story
Hank is a wonderful and loving dog with a lot of endearing qualities. His loyalty and love for cuddling, along with his enthusiasm for playing fetch, make him a delightful companion for the right owner. His laid-back nature and preference for lounging by the TV, combined with a healthy appetite for treats and food, show his relaxed yet playful demeanor. It's important to note his territorial behavior around food and toys, highlighting the need for a clear understanding of his boundaries. His bond with Cash, his foxhound companion, after an initial adjustment period, speaks to his ability to get along with other dogs. While Hank thrives on adult attention, his interactions with young children may not be suitable. Therefore, a family without young kids would be the best fit for him.Having completed the Jet Set Pets 3-week boarding training program, Hank is well-versed in commands and responsive to training. The trainer's willingness to demonstrate his commands to the future owner, along with your commitment to ensuring the right home for Hank, reflects a dedicated approach to his well-being.In conclusion, Hank's positive attributes shine through, and with the right match, he can bring joy and companionship to his new family.Additional information: We are not a shelter.Local adopters only. All our dogs are in private fosters. We only set up meets with approved adopters. If you want to meet our adoptable dogs, many pups will be at Brewhound for Fur Sisters Friday on the first Friday of every month from 6-8 pm.Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for each dog, it is not first come, first served. We do not 'hold' dogs. Please note: we have many dogs who are not yet listed as available due to the availability of volunteer time to post or because they are puppies. Story
My name is Kodiak, I came from a feral colony of dogs in Rural Ga. I am very sweet, can be shy with new people at first; it doesn’t take me long to come around to kind people. I will need someone patient and caring to help me become more confident! Older children in a possible forever home should be fine for me since they aren’t usually as loud and rambunctious as younger children. I don’t want to be scared in my new home. I am very calm, quiet, and just want attention, love, and a kind hand. If you think that you can provide that for me please apply for me! Kodiak can be cat tested upon request.Sgerinc.comOr email Heather for more information at Sgequinerescue@gmail.com

Story
Baby is a goofy puppy who has no idea what's going on most of the time, but he is entertaining and fun. He would do best in a home that is active and can provide him with structure to help him know what's going on. He's a good boy all around, but is the type to get lost just turning around to face the other way. You really can't go wrong with adopting a boy like him. He had a rough start with getting parvo and having to be an emergency pull from a high kill shelter to save his life. It could be what contributed to him being extra extra goofy, but that doesn't mean he's any less deserving. He fought to survive parvo and now we need to find him the perfect home for him to thrive! Please consider adopting this special boy.Baby can be cat tested upon request.

Story
Petey was abandoned and found his way to a rescue volunteer’s home. Petey should be called “Lucky Petey” for managing that! This sweet ball of love is on an on the job watch dog. He has a high prey drive so not so good with chickens and such. He LOVES his people to pieces though and works hard to please them. He is leash and house trained and super smart. He does well with children as well. He would be a great only pet or an awesome family pet. You would be safe with PETE! Pete is neutered, UTD in shots, microchipped and in great health. His adoption fee includes a year supply of heart worm, flea and tick prevention. If you are interested in PD please apply online today at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com

Story
BARC welcomes VIGIL to rescue! This 6 month old lab/pointer has to be the sweetest and most humble puppy I've met in a very long time. He is a little afraid of larger dogs but if they are friendly he fits right in. He was abandoned in a downtown area for several days. I guess he was waiting on rescue to come. I am so glad we got him as he is quite deserving of a loving home. He would make the perfect family pet. He would do well with other pets and children. I suspect he will get to be around 50 pounds. As always, he is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He qualifies for disabled veteran, senior and first responder discount. If you are interested in this love bug, please apply online at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com .
