Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Kermit is a sweet loving guy that just wants to please his humans. He is good with the other dogs at the rescue. Sadly Kermit was adopted by an older couple and couldn't they give him the kind of attention and exercise that a dog his age needs because of their health issues, so he was returned to the rescue. It wasn't his fault, he just wanted someone that can play, run, hike and just have fun with. Kermit has been left in the house at night un-crated and does very well. He waits until morning to be let out to do his business. Kermit also loves car rides and rides quietly watching out the window. He would be a great companion for any active person or family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   October 25, 2024, 1:35 pm

Story
This precious pup is Skippy! He arrived as a lost boy at the shelter on 10/25, and no one has come to reclaim him. Skippy is all puppy and he'll need someone who has the time, patience, and energy to keep up with him! Puppies are super cute, but they're also a lot of work! The volunteers adore this little guy, and they describe him as super loving and playful. He is calm in his kennel, but he LOVES to play with toys (especially stuffed animals) when he's taken out to play. Skippy does know how to sit nicely when asked. Skippy is approximately 7 months old, and he weighs 37 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Skippy in run 330; his ID # is 662847. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Story
Oliver is a 8 year old Great Dane/ Pointer mix that weighs about 70 lbs! Oliver is good with dogs and kids of all ages but is not a friend of cats! He is working hard on perfecting his sit, stay, kennel and no jumping commands as well as crate training and housebreaking! Oliver came to the rescue as a small puppy as one of a litter of 11 that was left in a box next to a mail box at only about 10 days old! While almost all of his other siblings found homes immediately Oliver was looked over. He is a big boy with lots of energy and is still waiting for his forever home! He has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, and been dewormed!! His adoption fee is $250.November 3, 2024, 8:52 am
