He has a high prey drive so not so good with chickens and such. He LOVES his people to pieces though and works hard to please them. He is leash and house trained and super smart. He does well with children as well. He would be a great only pet or an awesome family pet. You would be safe with PETE! Pete is neutered, UTD in shots, microchipped and in great health. BARC welcomes VIGIL to rescue! This 6 month old lab/pointer has to be the sweetest and most humble puppy I've met in a very long time. He is a little afraid of larger dogs but if they are friendly he fits right in. He was abandoned in a downtown area for several days. I guess he was waiting on rescue to come. I am so glad we got him as he is quite deserving of a loving home. He would make the perfect family pet. He would do well with other pets and children. I suspect he will get to be around 50 pounds. As always, he is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He qualifies for disabled veteran, senior and first responder discount. Baby is a goofy puppy who has no idea what's going on most of the time, but he is entertaining and fun. He would do best in a home that is active and can provide him with structure to help him know what's going on. He's a good boy all around, but is the type to get lost just turning around to face the other way. You really can't go wrong with adopting a boy like him. He had a rough start with getting parvo and having to be an emergency pull from a high kill shelter to save his life. It could be what contributed to him being extra extra goofy, but that doesn't mean he's any less deserving. He fought to survive parvo and now we need to find him the perfect home for him to thrive!
