My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old. My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult. I LUV KIDS! My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on. I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too. I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too. I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes. I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs. We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime. He is alert and very smart. He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life. He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training. This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children. He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good. We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie. He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think. Rocky has been a long stay in boarding while we got this little chowder head to focus. Apparently, his life had started with, best guess, young boys because his exuberance was over the top. We have finally gotten him under control. Other dogs still correct him at times because he just can't get that meet & greet scenario down pat, again exuberance. He is a very loving dog and would love the opportunity to live with someone who loves the outdoors and hiking. This boy needs a home where his people are with him. He is a person-loving dog, and the only way he can stay out of trouble is to be with his people. He can't help himself; at age 2, he can still be destructive if left to his own devices. Sorry, no apartments for this boy.

Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
