Story
Get ready for all your friends and neighbors to tell you that you have the most adorable pup on the planet when you take Tanner for a walk. With his dots and spots and brown eye patch this Pointer/Mixed Breed boy is sure to be the talk of the town.Tanner is a young pup at around 5 months old and has plenty of growing up to do so it is estimated that he will be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when he is full grown. He also has a medium energy level that makes him a great companion for walks around the neighborhood, some playtime and lots of cuddles when home beckons. He is happy to hang out with children and other dogs. It is not known at this time whether Tanner enjoys hanging out with cats.Tanner is working on his house, leash, and crate training. Establishing a bathroom routine after meals, exercise and naps will help him become a well-behaved member of the household. If crate training is planned, Tanner will require a crate that is big enough for him to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for Tanner to relax. Gaze into his big brown eyes, see that he is just begging for a family to call his own, friends to admire his beauty and a forever home full of warmth and love. The adoption fee for Tanner is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.February 20, 2025, 6:03 am

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Redford - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fabulous people out there!! My name is Redford but all my friends just call me Red. I'm here looking for a home, a family, one to call my very own. And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that it means you might consider making me a part of yours!! I'm a youngster yet of around 10 months and am very loving, affectionate and ready for playtime. I love to be on the go exploring this big ole world and would do best with an active family that would want to include me in their activities and adventures, anything from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. I come in at about 45ish lbs. A pawsomely perfect medium size for those long walks, nature hikes, camping trips and of course those belly rubs I absolutely adore getting. I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! Oh and guess what?! I'm already house trained! We can get right to the fun stuff...right away!! And....I'm learning some basic commands. I haven't had too much learning yet in my life, but I'm picking up new things very quickly. I already walk really well on the leash and know how to 'sit' and I am eager to learn so much more! I'm good with people both tall and small and other doggies! I would make a great playmate to either a 2 or 4 legged 'sibling' or a terrific sidekick as your one and only! I haven't had the pleasure meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. I am so looking forward to being your FBF (furry best friend), your constant in this world, your heart beat at your feet!! If I sound like a perfect match for your home and lifestyle please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. It can be found at haydudeequine.org Tail wags and puppy kisses, Redford 💖

Rowley is an active, intelligent young man that is eager to learn new things. Despite being found on a back road skinny, filthy and covered in infected thorns he's been very social and friendly since day one. He continually impresses his foster with how much of a good boy he is.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Update 2/15/25 Petey is currently enrolled in the Paws in Prison program. He started there on 2/10 and will be there for 8 weeks. During that time he will be with an inmate trainer who will work on the basics with him (basic obedience, leash walking, house training, etc.). They meet weekly with a dog trainer. When Petey graduates, he will have his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. We hope he has a home waiting for him when he graduates in April. 1/29/25 Meet Petey! This lovable boy will melt your heart with his sweet soul and affectionate nature. At just 6-8 months old, Petey is a playful and active pup who enjoys plenty of fun before settling down for cozy snuggles. He's making great progress with basic manners like not jumping, sitting, and walking nicely on a leash. Petey is kennel-trained, fully house-trained, and always ready to please. We do not know his breed. This website makes us pick a breed.  When his pictures were put in an app, it said Mountain Cur/Pointer mix. He is likely a mix of several breeds. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores everyone he meets. Petey is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative—ready to bring joy and love to his forever home!Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
