Story
Nala is a sweet, loving young dog looking for someone to cuddle with. She loves to play with squeaky toys and spend quality time with her people. She is protective, energetic when the mood calls for it, and very happy. She is housebroken, fixed, and current on all shots. She has lived inside and on a ranch and will make a good indoors or outdoors companion. She is gentle, well-mannered, and obeys basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc). Recently she's been learning how to play fetch. Nala will be a great companion!

Story
DUKE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! Meet Duke!  This gentle guy will steal your heart quick! Duke loves to follow you every where and just be with his people. His tail is constantly  wagging. He is eager to meet everyone he meets. He is a fan of giving kisses! He is also quite the looker- check out those amazing eyes. He is a 2 year old mixed breed pup. He weighs about 60lbs. Duke is good with other dogs and children. Duke does well by himself, but loves to play with his other foster dog siblings. Duke is potty trained, crate trained, knows how to sit (and is working on other commands), is content to play with himself, sleep on the floor next to you, or head out on an adventure. Duke rides well in the car. He walks great on a leash.  He has not met a cat before. He’s attentive and smart, and so sweet. He would make the perfect addition to any home or lifestyle. He’s a 10/10 perfect dog! Is he your new best friend? Duke is fully vetted- to include being neutered, having all shots, and on heart worm and flea tick prevention. Duke's adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Duke up north to his new family.     If you have any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .   You can apply to adopt here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs  Age 2 years       Sweet Stubby was found wandering alone in a rural part of Mississippi, and taken in by an elderly man who fell in love with this gentle boy but couldn’t keep him. He called Wags for help and the rescue took him in, The man’s grandson named him Stubby for his little short legs!     Stubby is a sweet boy, he is gentle and gets along fine with all the dogs at the rescue. He was recently neutered and has all his vaccinations and is ready for a loving home. Stubby absolutely loves to be with his people, he follows the director of the rescue all over the property, his little tail wagging. He is gentle with children and just a great family dog. Stubby is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher while he adjusted to a new home.   Stubby is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, March 8. He will make a wonderful member of the family.       Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Story
Rocky has been a long stay in boarding while we got this little chowder head to focus. Apparently, his life had started with, best guess, young boys because his exuberance was over the top. We have finally gotten him under control. Other dogs still correct him at times because he just can't get that meet & greet scenario down pat, again exuberance. He is a very loving dog and would love the opportunity to live with someone who loves the outdoors and hiking. This boy needs a home where his people are with him. He is a person-loving dog, and the only way he can stay out of trouble is to be with his people. He can't help himself; at age 2, he can still be destructive if left to his own devices. Sorry, no apartments for this boy.
