MEET CANNON  !!! This sweet, docile and smart boy is just amazing!! While he's calm and laid back most of the time, when he gets the opportunity to play, he is excitable and full of energy. He'd LOVE another dog to play with!   We recommend an adopter with another dog the same size as Cannon. He will do best without small animals in the home.  Cannon also enjoys walks and would be a great hiking partner.  He is still working on his leash manners and does like to pull a bit so someone that knows how to continue leash training will be helpful. He is a bit car shy but once in, he settles down quickly and is very well behaved. He's already housebroken and knows how to use a doggy door.  He will require a home with a solid block wall...(while he's never tried to jump over one, he can jump high, so a chain link or shorter wall will not work.)  This friendly boy likes everyone he meets--he just loves attention. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was a little stiff and out of shape, but with regular exercise, some dental work, and a healthier diet, I’ve dropped a few pounds and rediscovered my bounce! Meet Dale! He was hit by a car over two plus years ago.  The vet said the outcome would’ve been better for him if he was treated asap once he was hit. Dale injured his spine when he was hit by a car in Costa Rica.  He was living on the farm in Costa Rica with lots of other dogs.  A few months before coming to the US he lived at home with a vet in order to get laser therapy more frequent, which were continuing here along with acupuncture.  Long term we hope he improves with continued physical therapy but it’s not a guaranteed due to how long ago his injury to was. He gets around great in a wheelchair, that’s how he got the name Dale (Earnhardt). Out of the wheelchair he gets around pretty well.  He wears a belly band in the house to prevent accidents and he will use the doggie door.  Personality wise he LOVES attention from anyone who will give it to him.  He’s a huge snuggler and will follow everyone around the house, just to stay close to them.  He does great with kids and is being fostered with 12 other dogs.  He deserves a chance at a real place to call home after having such a rough start. He is 1 of 8 dogs saved from Costa Rica and we hope we can give him a second chance at a great life. He will need a home that can continue with acupuncture and laser therapy. Meet Bella, aka Specks, the lovable Pitbull mix who will steal your heart with her wagging tail and big amber eyes. (Bella) was going to be euthanized with her unborn babies if she didn't find a foster within 24hrs. I knew she had so much love to offer if she was given a chance to live. She really does deserves the world, but will be so grateful for hugs, kisses & lots of love. She's been through a lot including an emergency C-section unfortunately losing a couple babies. She is completely obsessed with her 2 little survivors, they can't be out of her sight for 30 seconds or she'll start to cry for them. She is a loyal companion that has so much to offer her future furever human. She loves running around, chewing her toys up & playing with kids. She is not aware of how big she is, so she will knock you off your feet if you are off guard but she will apologize with kisses. She is so smart, she will stand by the door when she needs to use the potty. Shes completely potty trained. She hasn't shown any signs of aggression. She really is the sweetest baby. She plays with my kids daily ages 10,6,1 yrs old. only thing she needs to work on, is going on walks & chewing up stuff that doesn't belong to her. Other than that. She's perfect

Meet Otter! He's a slow burner but worth the wait. Once he's out of his shell he's a lover boy through and through. His tongue is always sticking out of his cute little face, how could you not fall in love with him? Loud noises startle him sometimes, so he just needs a little reassurance that everything will be ok. He is well behaved and mellow, gets along with kids and other dogs! He's making progress on leash training and potty training. Otter takes direction very well and "sit is his best trick! He's kennel trained as well. Otter needs a lot of love and affection. He would be a great addition to a forever home looking for companionship and someone to call your best friend. If his forever home has another dog that would be a bonus!

Meet Blake! He's a spunky firecracker who's ready to play. He's very outgoing so it takes him little to no time to make his presence known. He's full of energy and loves playing with his brother but also enjoys some quiet time Blake loves exploring the backyard or when he's out on a walk. Once Blake gets comfortable he becomes attached like Velcro. He's making progress on leash training and potty training. He gets along with kids and other dogs! We're still working on basic commands and kennel training. So far we have "sit down. Blake is the perfect addition to a forever home with an active family or someone who enjoys outdoor activities.
