Story
Juno is a 4 year old pup, full of life, love and potential. She loves going on walks and getting her sniffs in, hunting squirrels from the window and cuddling up cozy. Juno is a good girl, love people and loves her person without a doubt. In her life, there have been situations indicating she is food reactive, resource guards her toys/ treats and can find other animals as a threat. Never aggressive behavior to humans or the children she has come in contact with but that is without her “resources” present. I think Juno would fit best in a home where she is the only pet and truthfully, a home with no children. She would do best with someone who loves to adventure, possibly hunt or a place to run and sniff with full freedom. Please understand this decision was a hard one to come to, and does not discount my love I’ve built thru the years and hold for her. I hope to find someone to love her as much as me. I want her to have a happy life without feeling threatened.

Story
Hi I`m Maggie!I`m a sweet young pup looking for a family to show me how to navigate my new home. I can be a bit shy at first, so I hope my new family will be patient and gentle with me while I warm up. I love getting cuddles and love from my people. I tend to get along well with other dogs and wouldn`t mind a doggy sibling. My past is unknown, but my future is bright with you! I would love to meet you and any resident dog siblings before going home.No appointment necessary!Meet me at AAWL`s Main Shelter!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

Story
Carl gets protective of his owners and personal space sometimes and will bite. No severe injuries but new introductions need to be taken extra slow and careful, with his muzzle. There have been a handful of minor bites since adopting him. Carl is crate trained and house trained. He is dog selective and will do fine with mellow, non energetic, adult dogs. No cats or small animals in home. He loves to relax on his own, somewhere comfy and warm. He enjoys to play with toys every now and then but will ruin soft plush toys. He loves to sun bathe. He does well with kids but would recommend a home with older children.
