Story
Edward is roughly 6 years old. He came to us, May of 2023 (481 days ago). Now, Edward can be a little bit of a Butt to say the least. When he was first here, he would bite in a heartbeat. He didn’t want to be touched and he surely didn’t want to be picked up. Well, a year later, he will go outside but he isn’t sure he likes it. He can be picked up but you can’t startle him. Edward loves chic-fil-a waffle fries and he is very gentle to take his treats. He loves to curl up in his bed and sleep and he will sit up like a little squirrel to beg. I think Edward would do best with a single person that would give him time to learn the routine and show him the love he deserves. He really is a tough one and this is why we have been hesitant to try to find him a home. Here with us, we know his little quarks and work around them. We just want to see him succeed. Meet Oldman or Old Man or Ol' Man and let him steal your heart. This guy lived most of his life outside. His owners were no longer able to care for him, so their neighbors stepped in and asked for help for this boy. He was already neutered & microchipped (only yielded a 2017 insertion date), so we took him in for shots & a vet check. That vet check revealed multiple missing teeth and several that needed extraction. He had 8 teeth pulled yesterday and is still the sweetest, friendliest (very) Senior boy. We estimate him to be 12ish. He has been friendly with the dogs he has met here and seemed to be intimidated by cats at last check. He can't go back to living outside, so let's find him a permanent home. He'll remain at Pearl's Place until he finds a forever family. He has waited MANY years to live in a home. Are you the one to spend his Golden Years with?

Story
Meet Noodles! Noodles is a chihuahua mix and he is around 4 years old. He is utd on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. Noodles would love be your one and only! He loves his person and he loves to sit in the lap. But, he is not a fan of sharing the lap with other dogs. When not enjoying his cuddle time he does well with other dogs and plays nicely. He has not been around cats. Noodles has some weakness in his back legs, but is mobile and runs well. Going around corners he tends to do a slide into home base move and keeps right on going. Due to his back legs situation, he would need to go to a home with kids 12 or older. He is kennel trained and working on house training and he was doing very well until the cold snap. We will continue to work with him while he waits for his forever family. He tends to mark when he is new to the home and we are hoping that decreases with the use of belly bands and his neuter which was done about a week ago.
