Copper is a sweet little nugget who is looking for an adult home (or older respectful kids) and he would love a yard to run in.  Age: 3yrs  Weight: 30 lbs Training: Housetrained and crate-trained, knows  commands.  Temperament:  Good with dogs, kids.  Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative. He is a little timid around new people but warms up quickly. He will run if he gets loose. Story
Dusty is starting over at 6 after a lifetime of being very, very loved. His owner, who is seriously ill, surrendered Dusty into PAWS’ care recently, and it was a hard goodbye for both of them. Since then, Dusty has been in a foster home with two other PAWS alums, and he settled in immediately. He’s great with the other dogs, playful but never too much for the senior dog in the home. He slept in bed with his owner in his former home and liked to be on the couch or walking along the top of the couch. Dusty seems very comfortable with both people (even strangers) and dogs. As he’s settled into his home, he’s started to bark a little at the dogs passing by outside. But he doesn’t bark nearly as much as his foster siblings do. Dusty loves walks and being outdoors. He pulls (although it’s not hard) initially and then settles down and walks loose-leash right beside you. We (his fosters) get him out into the yard for frequently potty breaks, and he’s not had a single accident in the house (that we know of, LOL). He listens, takes correction well and accepts treats gently. We think Dusty is a chihuahua-whippet mix, and his underbite is legendary. Come see about this sweet boy.
