Story
George is a young chihuahua who came to us after we sprung him and his brothers out of the shelter. His foster reports he is a champion snuggler, once he is comfortable. Due to his rough past he is still skittish with new people, but with time and patience warms up. He likely won't be the house greeter when company comes over, as he prefers to hang in another room. George gets along great with other dogs and would do best with another furry companion in the home to help with his confidence. He is housetrained and learning how to walk well on a leash. A home with a fenced in yard is a must and due to his size and shyness and home with no small children. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you. We are located in Pensacola, Fl. Local applications considered first, but will consider out of state applications if transport can be arranged. Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention.
