Hey there, I'm Aubrey, the stunning 30-pound, 1-year-old female Plott Hound mix with a heart as beautiful as I am! I had a tough beginning, I was surrendered to an overcrowded kill shelter in Texas when I was just 4 months old because my owner had too many dogs. I was very, very scared, but thankfully Project Hope saw the pleading in my eyes and they saved me!I’m going to be honest with you here - I am a total sweetheart once I warm up to you, but I am just terrible at meet and greets! I don’t know what happens, I just get so nervous that I start acting all shy, and a lot of my amazing personality just flies right out the window. I really need an understanding family that knows it might take a few days for the true me to shine through. Then I’ll be on you like white on rice, I want nothing more than to be with my person. I love other doggos, but I haven’t had the pleasure of making any feline friends yet. I would probably do best in an adults-only household. I'm a spunky girl who loves nothing more than running and playing, so I'd thrive in a home with a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs. But hey, even if you don't have a yard, as long as we can go for walks and play together, I'll be one happy pup! After all that fun, I'm all about snuggling up with my favorite person for a nap. I'm potty and crate-trained, spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines, so I'm ready to bring love and laughter to my forever home.&#226&#128&#139My adoption fee is $300. Tess is about 6 years old. She was found by a good samaritan and taken to the rescue in Mississippi after being hit by a car and left for dead. She had a severely broken back leg. Surgery was done but she still can't bend her leg. Don't let that scare you. It certainly does not bother her any or slow her down. She is super fast when she wants to be and enjoys play time with her friend Billy. Tess is good with other dogs, cats and kids. A secured fenced in yard is required for her safety. She is spayed, up to date on shots, rabies, microchipped and heartworm negative and on prevention. Her adoption fee is $413 ##1771002##

Hi! I am Carly, people tell me I am smart and beautiful! I make my foster parents smile because I am so cute in how I talk when I am asking for something. I have taught them all my languages for my needs! I can sit and wait patiently to be petted, I know to lay down and stay on command. I love to give my toys to people when I play. I live with other dogs, and am ok with most dogs, but can't play too hard. I am housebroken and crate trained, however it makes me a bit worried when I am left alone, so my perfect home should have someone who works part time,or has a hybrid schedule. I would be safer in a 6 foot fence but they may consider other options, as I do love to take long walks. Being an investigative hound, I could not be expected to stay in an unfenced yard! Older kids would be best.
