Meet Jake! This happy-go-lucky plott hound/lab mix will have you grinning from ear to ear. He is five years old and is 65 pounds of playful perfection! Right from the get go, you can't help but notice Jake's winning grin. He has the most wonderful endearing optimism about him that you just have to experience for yourself. He absolutely loves his toys and you can find him batting them around the office at the kennel. Of course Jake always makes time to cuddle with his adoring fans and is a very affectionate boy. He enjoys his time outside with his kennel mates as well. Jake knows how to sit and takes his treats gently. This bubbly boy will benefit from continued training, daily exercise and a yard to enjoy in his new home. He will be the ultimate companion for one lucky family. Based on our evaluation, we feel he will do well in and active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the capacity to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. This beautiful girl came in to the rescue with her brother, Fred. After they were adopted from a shelter in terrible condition, were working with a trainer, and developed sweet personalities, their owner ended up in a dire situation, and regrettably had to surrender Fred & Ginger. Although they have been together since birth, they can be adopted separately. These medium sized dogs need a good, forever home, where they can enjoy being loved and nurtured, and trust they will never be neglected or given up again. They are very loving and walk great on leash. What a great family dog Ginger would make!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Ginger's adoption fee is $275.
