At 14 years old and about 14.5 lbs, Misty may be a senior pup but she still has plenty of love and life left to give. This well-behaved girl is a pro at signaling when she needs to go in or out, and she loves nothing more than playing chase and getting pets and scratches from her favorite humans. Despite some missing teeth, Misty has no trouble enjoying her meals and is on track to reach her healthy weight. She does well in a crate, sleeps through the night, and just wants to be close to her people. Misty is good with kids and other dogs, making her a great addition to any family - whether she's part of a pack or the solo pup. Misty enjoys short walks and prefers to sleep on bedding, so be sure to provide her with a cozy spot to rest. She is a low-maintenance pup who doesn't get into trouble and does surprisingly well with bigger dogs. Scamp is looking for a loving foster home to help him recover while he is receiving medical treatment. Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) + awaiting specialty surgery Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Scamp is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious to other pets, we strongly recommend keeping him in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until he has fully recovered. He will go to his foster home with medication, and once his treatment is complete, he`ll be ready for his specialty surgery. Want dog who always looks sad? Kevin is definitely dog for you. Absolute sweetest boy. Will flop on top of you for belly rubs. Will hoard tiny tennis balls like a dragon on top of its gold. Kevin is a 5 year old Pekingese! He is looking for a new home because he doesn’t get along with young kiddos (big kiddos okay!) and his humans had a baby and it’s just isn’t working. Kevin is not happy with the baby and wants a baby free home, he says. Kevin is shy at first, but warms up and is your friend forever. He does resource guard because his brother (RIP Snoop) used to steal his food. He is all talk & no bite (his teeth don’t even line up to bite let’s be real).
