Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.These 2 boys were put out into the street by their previous owners and picked up by our very high kill animal control shelter here in San Antonio, TX I just do not understand why because they are very good boys, well mannered and quiet and very potty trained as well as crate trained and can be left home alone without bothering anything. CHARLIE & CARTER are brothers that are 4 years old with CHARLIE being the biggest at 17 pounds and CARTER is 14 pounds. I would love for the them to be adopted together as they have spent their entire life together and really love each other and enjoy playing with each other. VERY BONDED PAIR Their adoption fee is $400 each. They walk very well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick. Just two well behaved dogs that deserve a loving home. If you are interested in adopting them, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Lulu is a 15 year old female peekapoo. She is very gentle and sweet, great with kids and tolerant of other dogs and cats. She gets jealous if she is not shown the most attention or given the treats first. She is potty trained but may have to be taken out on a leash to make her go if its raining outside. I am rehoming her because my work hours do not allow me to provide the companionship that she needs. She does well in her kennel overnight if it is in the same room as the owner. She is partially deaf and has minor arthritis, but seems in great health otherwise, alternating between running and playing outside to lounging around inside. She does not tear up things in the house that are not hers. Her hair does get long so she will need haircuts when it is warm outside. She will come with her kennel, her new bed, and whatever amount of food, treats, and flea prevention meds and shampoo that I have left. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine.

Lewis is a little bigger than his friends Lois and Clark. He is cautious of big dogs. He plays very well with small dogs. He loves to play and walks well on a leash. Loves toys and getting lots of rubs. He was very scared when he first came to the ranch. He has blossomed and become very confident and affectionate. He will be great with a family. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is located in the Texas Hill Country. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##2088929##

Story
Princeton, 10-year-old Pekingese mix, 12 lbs. Here’s the thing, Princeton has some quirks. While adorable as can be this senior guy can be sassy and definitely likes to be the boss. He is not a dog you can pick up and tote around all day, he doesn’t like to be held and firmly likes his feet on the floor. He did not get the memo that sharing is caring and his toys are HIS toys. He is like Superman and like his fortress of solitude where only he exists in space sometimes. He has been around other dogs and can be a bit testy with them especially when toys are involved. He can be snappy when he doesn't want to be messed with. However, even with his old man quirks Princeton is a GREAT dog for the right person! He is fully potty trained and will bark to be let out and bark to be let back inside. He is good with cats and is good around respectful older kiddos who don’t get into his bubble. In fact, he follows kids like a baby duck wanting to see what they are doing. Princeton is kennel trained although he doesn’t prefer it. He enjoys slow walks outside, playing with toys, good long naps and canned dog food. Princeton abides by the 3-3-3 rule and will take time to decompress in a new home. Once he does he settles in and is a sweet boy.
