Story
Meet Princess Bella! Princess Bella is a sweet Pekingese lady born January 5, 2013, weighing about 19 pounds. In her foster home she’s lovingly called Vita Bella, meaning “beautiful life,” and she truly enjoys the finer things in life—especially a soft bed and a peaceful home. This sweet 13 year old senior girl is spayed, vaccinated, fully potty trained and has wonderful house manners. Her absolute favorite place is her cozy bed, where she happily spends her time snoozing in comfort. Sleeping is one of her greatest hobbies—and she’s even been known to provide a little adorable snoring soundtrack while she dreams. Princess Bella has a calm personality and enjoys a relaxed routine. She’s perfectly content lounging nearby, enjoying a soft bed, and being part of a peaceful home. Princess Bella gets along well with other dogs, but she would do best in a home without small children, as she prefers a quieter environment where she can feel comfortable and respected. At this stage in life, she’s looking for a loving family who will appreciate her sweet nature and give her the comfort every princess deserves. If you’re looking for a low-key companion who will happily nap the day away and keep you company, Princess Bella (Vita Bella) may be the perfect addition to your home. She’s ready to spend her golden years being loved like the royalty she is. 💕 Adoption fee is: $ ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Story
Meet Bunny!🐰🤍At 15 years old and 14 lbs, Bunny is the definition of a gentle, loving companion. Don’t let his age fool you—this sweet boy still enjoys exploring, following his humans around, and finding the coziest spot in the house to nap.Bunny is calm, easy-going, and incredibly affectionate. He loves being near his people and will happily turn anything into a bed… backpacks, shoes, laundry—if it’s on the floor, it’s fair game! His little snores are just as adorable as he is.💤His vision is a bit foggy, so you may see him gently bump into things as he learns his surroundings, but he gets around just fine. He enjoys slow strolls, is great on leash, and rides well in the car. He also gets along with other dogs and cats! He’s a smart little guy who’s starting to learn commands and is very treat-motivated!🍪 Bunny will let you know when he needs to go outside (about every 4–5 hours), and he’s working on pee pad training. Because he can’t hold his bladder overnight, a dog door or belly band can really help set him up for success! Bunny does have separation anxiety and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time and willing to be patient as he continues to build confidence. He’s already making progress, and with the right person and enough time, he’s going to blossom.💛We do want to be honest, Bunny can get a little loud and destructive if he becomes super anxious, so understanding his needs is super important! If you’re looking for a slower-paced, loyal little shadow who just wants to be by your side, Bunny might be your perfect match. 🐾To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
