Story
5yo owner going to assisted living. Surrendered with his best girl Anna LOBO We’re honestly starting to think Lobo is being overlooked simply because he’s quietly waiting No big dramatic story. No constant demand for attention.Just a really good dog hoping someone notices him.Lobo has the kind of energy that makes life better: happy to see you ready for adventures down for couch time after just genuinely happy to be includedHe’s the type of dog who becomes part of your routine fast—the buddy who follows you from room to room, hangs out nearby, and makes ordinary days feel a little less ordinary. And somehow… he’s still waiting. Lobo doesn’t need perfect. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Story
Meet Lucky 8 years old.Sweet, gentle, and learning to trust again.Lucky is settling into foster care and showing us more of who he is every day. He’s a very sensitive little guy who may be unsure at first — but once he feels safe, his sweet and affectionate personality starts to shine. And when he trusts you? He’s a total cuddle bug. What we’re learning about Lucky: Very gentle and loving Enjoys cuddling in your lap once he feels safe Gets along with other dogs (he tends to avoid conflict) Not interested in toys — prefers people and comfort Rides well in a crateLucky is still decompressing and learning what life in a home looks like. He can be shy with new people and may bark or retreat at first, but he is already making great progress and building trust with his foster family.A few things he’s working on:• Confidence with new people and environments• House training and routine• Learning basic commands and his name• Feeling comfortable with handling (like collar/leash) His ideal home:• Patient, understanding adopter• Calm environment• Secure doors/yard (he can be a door-dasher)• Someone willing to help him continue building confidenceLucky does show some separation anxiety, which is understandable as he adjusts — he just wants to feel safe and know his people are nearby. The best part? He’s already come so far in a short time.Lucky isn’t a “perfect” dog — he’s a dog who needs a little time, a little patience, and a lot of love. And in return, you get a deeply loyal, gentle companion who will bond closely with his person. If you’re the kind of person who sees the beauty in helping a dog grow and feel safe again… Lucky might be your guy. Story
Squeaky is a tough little guy. He’s right at 13 lbs., but don’t tell him that. As far as he’s concerned, he’s a big dog. He’s very sweet and enjoys sitting in your lap or being carried around. He loves food, and knows how to twirl on his hind legs for a treat. He is very protective, and a good alarm dog. He does well with laid back dogs who don’t pay him much mind. He doesn’t seem much for playing with others, he just goes off on his own little mission sniffing around. He does not do well with horses (so I’d assume other livestock is a no as well). He’s not been cat tested, but we can do so if requested. If you’re looking for a funny, food-loving friend, he’s your guy!Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step.
