Story
Rocket was born in October 2015. January 2016 we purchased him from the Yuppie Puppy pet store which specialized in getting dogs from “good breeders” not puppy mills. We had a previous dog for 17 years and the house just seemed empty without a dog. The whole family was in alignment to get a new dog and understood the commitment to training a puppy.Rocket’s early years were spent at home and our children were in 3rd and 7th grade when he arrived. He enjoyed playdates in the yard with the kids and their friends. Playing ball, hide-and-seek and building forts. Rocket would just runaround with the kids and always wanted to be involved. My husband and I work traditional 9-5 jobs and the kids went to school. Some days Rocket would go to “puppy daycare” which he thoroughly enjoyed. In true Jack Russell fashion he would try to rule the place. Walking on the perimeter top of the fence as if he was on patrol. We used to joke with the proprietors and say he thought he was the mayor. When Rocket was about 4 we noticed he developed some environmental allergies. Pink belly and chewing at his feet. We brought him to the Vet and he needed an allergy shot. We also like to have rockets nails trimmed. Otherwise they split and he hurts his toes while running around and digging. He gets this allergy shot seasonally in the fall and spring, essentially 2x a year.Rocket has his own room (the dining room which is gated) with a crate and has NEVER slept in a bed with us or our kids. Occasionally there is a nap on the couch, but for the most part everyone has their own bed and he sleeps solidly through the night 7-8 hours.  Sometimes Rocket wakes up grumpy and it takes him a few minutes to adjust. Just give him space and a moment to wake up and he is fine. January 28, 2025, 12:43 am

Ears! Ears! Ears!Archie is still looking for his forever! He wonders why he keeps getting passed over! He’s the sweetest boy and so ready to find his forever! He’s spunky, fun and loves to run outside and say hello. He does great with teens and adults. He’s ok with another dog or being the one and only. He has been doing well on his house training but is not a fan of the crate. He loves his toys and chew bones and exploring outside. He enjoys wearing his sweater on these cold days. He’s very affectionate and will give a kiss hello. He loves sleeping under the covers:) He loves walking at the park and has learned to sit and stayArchie is a year and a half years old and around 25 pounds!Archie you sure are a cutie!!! He is ready for Christmas in his snazzy sweater! This little over a year old JRT mix is ready to be your best friend! He loves toys and play time! He is around 25 pounds of pure energy! He will need a fenced in yard to run in or someone very active to take him for plenty of walks! House and crate trained! Would be good with another dog or two but probably not want a house full! Who do you invite to the party first. The life of the party? Why Archie of course! He tells the best jokes, dances with all the girls helps clean up and smokes in the bath room with the boys. Story
Hank- CP a Jack Russell Terrier puppy was found on a front porch of a friends house on Feb 28. No collar and no chip. She posted him on several local websites with no results. She took him to a shelter which is a kill shelter on March 2. I adopted him on March 3 and brought him home. I currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats, so my house is fairly full and i would love to find him a loving home that understands the breed. He is 5-6 months old, some shots, and scheduled to be neutered this week.He is very smart, cuddly, and active! He is doing well on his potty training within only a few days. Hank walks great on a leash. Anyone that wants a jack russell puppy would be lucky to have him.
