Lilli-pup So what? Yah, I was named after a Pokmon but, really I don't fit it's personality. Although, I am intelligent and courageous, and capable of judging my opponent's strengths, I have not and never will intend to hurt anyone. I MAY be very vocal when playing with friends and love ones, but it is all in fun. :) Cats are a different story, I will challenge them, but they always win. I hope to someday to become friends with one and have a partnership and be able to teach each other strategies to get extra treats. Down time is my favorite, I love belly and ear scratches and giving kisses. But don't get too comfortable! I am a youngster and playtime is my fAVORITE time!! He and his friend were sent there due to no fault of their own, and thanks to RED both made it out. Jackson has taken some time to warm up but he has learned that life is good, and many of his ghosts have melted away. He does occasionally get nervous still, but boy is Jackson such a happy lovely boy. He adores people wholeheartedly. He has gotten along with all the dogs we have tried him out with in our care. He loves treats and soft beds, pets and kindly being held. He is still nervous with certain transitions, but he has been adjusting better and faster with us each time something changes (location of sleeping quarters, play group, etc.) Due to his need for clarity and guidance we are looking for an adult only home for him that is willing to show a little patience to bring out the sparkly side of this happy boy as we have gotten to know him here. Most of our dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Meet Lara💗 Lara is a super calm small girly. She loves humans and gets along well with children, but is not really interested in dog friends. She’s super cuddly and calm, so the house size wouldn’t matter much. She loves going for a short walk and is trained for housebreaking, so it is essential for you to take her for a walk at least two times a day. She’s also indifferent to dogs or humans she meet outside, but wants to lead the walk herself. She sheds a bit - not a lot; mediate level, and is also really good at grooming, so it wouldn’t be a big worry. However, she doesn’t really prefer long car trips – she doesn’t eat in cars and is a bit afraid of being in them at the first time. She is not kennel trained, but does sleep in her own bed. She also loves to cuddle on human bed and sofa!
