Story
I adopted Sunshine 3 years ago from San Martin animal shelter, mainly for my 2 kids. She is roughly 10 years old. I think is Chihuahua mix with Papillon breed. She does shed but not too much. She is potty trained (Costco mat). She does not bite anything (no worries to your furniture or shoes); no crazy non-stop barking (I can have meeting at home without problem), barks when strangers near the house only. Very friendly with kids. I need to find her a new home because my husband changed job which required lots of travelling, only me alone take care the family & I am working full time. I do not have time to care for Sunshine anymore. Also, my family might need to relocate soon. Want to find Sunshine a good home.

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $650   Jolly is a 4 year old Papillon mix ready to deck the holiday halls and spread cheer with his forever family! Jolly was rescued from the shelter where he was surrendered by his former home. Judging by the fact our handsome chunker could stand to lose at least 5-7 pounds (he currently weighs 20), we suspect he was used to getting table scraps which isn’t the healthiest diet for an adorable pupper. We promised to help him slim down and away we went on his next adventure! Jolly is ready to make your seasons bright starting… NOW!      Jolly is a super sweet and affectionate little gentleman who is full of happy joy. He loves his people and is happy to be wherever you are. He’s an amazing WFH companion as he loves to lounge on the bed in front of a fire while you make the money to buy him all the snacks he deserves. Once you finish your calls, he’s ready for a romp around the neighborhood followed by some snuggles and pets on the couch. Jolly is super smart and already knows lots of tricks! He already knows how to sit, roll over, and fetch a toy! What a smart gentleman our dude is! Jolly has a gorgeous coat that gleams in the sunlight and catches the eye of everyone he trots by. He’s a perfect companion if you’re looking to make more friends in your neighborhood! Jolly would thrive in a home looking for a playful and energetic buddy. Everyone who meets him comments on how sweet and cuddly he is. He’s just the best boy and we know he will make his forever family the luckiest people in the world!  Jolly usually starts his day around 8 AM with a trip to the backyard. He comes inside for breakfast and then alternates between lounging on the rug and sniffing in the yard until he heads out on his morning walk. He adores his strolls and happily sniffs his way around the neighborhood. Once he’s home, he’s happy to amuse himself for the majority of the afternoon until he heads out on his evening walk. He has dinner around 6 PM and then spends his evening getting cuddles. He snoozes the night away in bed with the resident dog.  Jolly currently lives with a medium sized terrier who he would love to play with. He would love a playful canine companion in his forever home. He does well when he meets new people and makes new friends quickly. Jolly walks well on the leash and is house trained. His forever home should be ready to continue his weight loss journey. Ready to deck the halls with boughs of holly? Do it with Jolly!     Jolly is an option for just about any home, regardless of prior experience. Kids should be over the age of 7.December 17, 2024, 4:45 am

If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $700    Moxie is a 2 year old Papillon mix ready to charge up your life with love! Moxie was rescued from the shelter where he was surrendered for reasons unknown. We knew that this gorgeous boy deserved the best second chance, so we scooped him up and broke him out of his cage! Two baths later and he was ready for his photoshoot to find his forever family! Moxie weighs 13 pounds and has the most amazing fluffy coat ever. Ready for your next adventure? Adopt Moxie!      Moxie is the biggest love bug in the entire world and would love nothing more than a lifetime spent with his people. He’s content being wherever you are, lounging at your feet or by your side on the couch. He loves his toys and takes his daily routine of emptying out the toy box to make his artistic designs, much to the amusement of his foster mom. He has an amazing personality that makes it impossible not to fall head over heels in love with him. You’ll be showering him with kisses and treats in no time! He even picked up tug of war within the day which made the resident dog thrilled to have a buddy to romp around with. He is super playful and loves playing fetch and squeaky toy destruction. He can make it snow fluff if you give him long enough. Moxie is also very smart and has already picked up sit and using the dog door. This dude is ready for adventure and we promised to find him a family ready to show him the world! Moxie has such a unique coloring paired with the cutest little fox ears. He turns heads wherever he goes and boy does he know it! He struts down the sidewalk like it’s his own personal runway. Call the paw-parazzi so they can put him on the cover of fashion magazines!   Moxie wakes up between 7:30 and 9 AM (he’s happy tosleep in with you) and heads outside for a potty break. He has breakfast followed by more backyard play mixed with lounging out on the deck in the sunshine. He gets a few mini training sessions during the day and is very eager to please as long as you have tasty snacks for him! During the workday, he hangs out in the living room with his toys until he’s ready for his afternoon walk. He then has more playtime in the backyard with the resident dog until dinner at 6 PM. In the evening, he lounges in the living room until he goes out for one last potty break before bed at 10 PM in his crate.   Moxie currently lives with another dog and they get along well. He walks very well on a leash besides getting distracted by squirrels (dang pests)! Moxie loves humans of all ages and would be so happy to find his perfect loving family. If you’re ready to find your new best friend, you’ve found him with Moxie!      Moxie is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 8.December 17, 2024, 4:45 am

Story
Hi, I'm Enzo. As in Ferrari. Although I in no way resemble one, I like to think I'm quick, especially around mealtime. My top speed on a good day is about three miles per hour. If I could wear tennis shoes, I would be a real five-pound force of nature! I'm full grown, but since I'm still a young pup I like to run and play, so if you want me, at least one other dog in the home is required. I mean, you don't want me tearing up the furniture, now do ya'? I rather spend my time running around with my homey than removing the stuffing from your sofa. Blech!!! How to best describe me. Well, like a fine wine, I'm sweet yet feisty. Delicate yet firm. Sublime yet pedestrian. I mean I'm a dog, for cryin' out loud! I think you'll agree, however, I possess movie star good looks. Maybe not leading man material, but impressive just the same. If I were human, rather than Leo DeCaprio, I would be more of a bobble-head Joe Pesci. But these lips! Look out Mick Jagger, I'm coming for you. Yeah ladies, read 'em and weep. No fillers here. This muzzle is the real thing. I'll bring plenty of pizzazz to your life. Your days of bingeing on boring reruns of Blacklist are over. Watch me instead, I'm eminently more entertaining. I'll captivate you with my charms, gaze at you with my big Puss-in-Boots brown eyes, and you'll be smitten. Next thing you know we'll be cruising through Starbucks for daily puppucinos. I'll be sleeping on your bed and wearing designer sweaters. Fortunately, I've never seen the inside of a shelter and never will. It's been nothing but champagne wishes and caviar dreams for this canine Casanova. I'm ready and able to give slobbery kisses. These lips are made for smooching, so pucker up and let's go home. I'll steal your heart...and then your socks!
