Pinto is a loving, cuddly little guy who just wants to be as close to you as possible—your lap is his favorite place to be. He truly embodies what “man’s best friend” is all about, offering loyalty, comfort, and unconditional love in the sweetest little package. Pinto is ready to find a family to call his very own, one that will cherish his affectionate nature and let him be their constant companion. He does well with other dogs, and while his interactions with kids and cats are still to be determined, his gentle and loving personality suggests he’ll fit right in with the right home. All Pinto needs is a chance—and he’ll give you a lifetime of love in return. ##2688528##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cameron was returned this summer - 9 months after he was adopted! Now he's looking for a REAL forever family.  Cameron is best described as a Cat-Dog. Much like a cat Cameron is happy on his own, and likes to be petted - but when he's ready. He isn't gonna try to steal the spotlight because he'd much rather hang out on his own - until he's comfortable. If you are looking for a fast friend, this is NOT the dog for you. But if you want to invest the time and let the dog feel relaxed and safe, he will repay you by letting you pet his chin. Cameron will do really well in a home with another small dog to help him feel more comfortable, or with a human that won't put too much pressure on him to be their friend. He is leash trained, crate trained and will need a dog savvy adopter. =============================================================== Originally, Cameron came to us after his owner was evicted and decided to abandon the house full of animals when they left.  Cameron and the two pack mates that we pulled with him were terrified. It's been 9 months and these cutie pies are available for adoption.  Cameron is the slowest to come around of the 3 dogs we pulled. While he is more comfortable hanging out by himself he does like people.  Cameron absolutely loves to run around the yard, and the more you praise how fast he is, the faster he runs - with a smile! Cameron is still shy and needs an owner that will go slow with him, but still apply a little bit of pressure. If you'd like to meet Cameron, come on down to our adoption center. Thursday - Saturday 11 - 4.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Goji entered Bonita Shelter as a stray, and sadly, he wasn't claimed. While at the shelter, he was neutered. We welcomed Goji as a Frosted Face on April 3rd. This friendly boy is estimated to be 11 years old and weighs 10 lbs. Goji went on a Frosted Field Trip, so we could learn more about him in a home environment. We received a great report from his foster mom: "Goji is such a good boy and will be a wonderful family dog. He acts much younger than his estimated age of 11. He was great with my kids (ages 7, 10 & 13) and was happy to have my two younger children playing with him and walking him. He loves chasing a little ball. Goji could not care less about our cat, even though the cat hissed at first. He was interested but calm when crossing paths with other dogs. Goji was learning his name and to sit and stay. He responds to the tone of voice. He managed our carpeted stairs no problem. Goji did fine when home alone. Upon return, I could hear him happily barking in the house after I pulled the car into the garage. When I opened the door, he was so happy to see me. Goji loved being the family dog and walking to and from school. He loves being near a human. He sat on the sofa with my daughter, laid down on the floor next to my youngest son until he fell asleep at night, and slept on the floor next to my husband's side of the bed." To meet Goji, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Woof!! come and meet me at Grossmont Center today Saturday 12/11 from 11 to 3 pm I have a beautiful light color coat, smart, and lovable. I am currently being fostered with other dogs and cats. We are being raised with cats walking around us, domestic and feral. We are around other dogs, large and small as well. I am easy going, low key and lovable I can't wait for you to take me home - and be your best buddy:) Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date their 3 core puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
