He would be best in an adults only home, as he prefers to play with his toys in peace. He loves toys, but doesn't like to share if he is focused on them.  If you are ready to meet your next family member, please submit an application through our website at https://amazingstraysrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5860 His adoption fee of $495 covers his standard first year vaccinations, his microchip his neuter and the first dose of flea and tick prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2024, 4:47 pm

Story
Beau (aka Souly), currenlty almost 2 yrs old and 13 lbs, came to us through a Facebook post. She was very weak and malnourished, but after vet care and lots of love she got healthy and was adopted. After almost 1.5 yrs of being adopted, the family wants to rehome her because the owner found a demanding job that does not allow time to care for Beau. She is trained to go potty outside and on pads. Outside she sometimes gets distracted exploring and needs to be reminded to focus on going potty. She does responds to the the command "go potty". She gets along with other dogs and likes people. She would be the perfect companion to someone that works from home. She really loves companionship, and loves to cuddle and sleep with her owners. She wants to be loved a lot and have that one (or two) special person(s). She is crate trained and is fine for a couple of hours in her crate while the family goes out to run errands.. She does have seizures due to epilepsy, but is fine on her meds. She gets a half a dropper of her med once a day with her breakfast. The medicine comes in a big bottle, it lasts a long time and is not expensive at all. The bottle lasts about a year. She likes to go outside to the yard and will follow you around. She can't be trusted off a leash in an area with streets and cars. She likes to explore and is a very happy dog. She is a bit nervous around other people but will not bite. She does love to eat, so she could easily become overweight with someone who likes to give dogs lots of treats and extra food. Currently she is at a healthy weight. She loves to play. She would do well with another little dog, or a bigger dog that knows how to play gently with a little dog. She also likes to chase the cats, but only because they are her size and she wants to play with them. Beau loves socks, especially used socks. If you take off a sock and put it on the floor she will play with it gleefully for a while. It's quite cute. Beau is a scavenger, a term we use for dogs who are always roaming the house looking for food anywhere they can find it, so it's important to not leave anything that may be potentially dangerous on the floor. So a house with little kids would not be ideal just in case they drop chocolate, or something that can harm dogs. If interested, please submit your application at www.drwb.org The adoption fee is $0 as DRWB and the current owner are trying to rehome her. Please submit an application only if you are a serious adopter. This girl deserves a forever loving home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cameron was returned this summer - 9 months after he was adopted! Now he's looking for a REAL forever family.  Cameron is best described as a Cat-Dog. Much like a cat Cameron is happy on his own, and likes to be petted - but when he's ready. He isn't gonna try to steal the spotlight because he'd much rather hang out on his own - until he's comfortable. If you are looking for a fast friend, this is NOT the dog for you. But if you want to invest the time and let the dog feel relaxed and safe, he will repay you by letting you pet his chin. Cameron will do really well in a home with another small dog to help him feel more comfortable, or with a human that won't put too much pressure on him to be their friend. He is leash trained, crate trained and will need a dog savvy adopter. =============================================================== Originally, Cameron came to us after his owner was evicted and decided to abandon the house full of animals when they left.  Cameron and the two pack mates that we pulled with him were terrified. It's been 9 months and these cutie pies are available for adoption.  Cameron is the slowest to come around of the 3 dogs we pulled. While he is more comfortable hanging out by himself he does like people.  Cameron absolutely loves to run around the yard, and the more you praise how fast he is, the faster he runs - with a smile! Cameron is still shy and needs an owner that will go slow with him, but still apply a little bit of pressure. If you'd like to meet Cameron, come on down to our adoption center. Thursday - Saturday 11 - 4.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friends after I heard this story my heart fell for this precious 4 yr old Papillion/Pomeranian mix.  His owner lives in TJ Mexico. Unfortunately, when she got married they put the dog out on their patio. He lived there alone for over a year until he became desperate and stressed.  Eventually the owner reached out to a friendo of mine who reached out to me. My friend said, he is so sweet and playful. He needs to gain confidence, so he needs a patient family that can give him time to decompress and trust. If the family has another playful dog his size that wouldbe a plus. Of course I couldn't say no to this precious boy. I named him Boe and took him under TLC K9 Rescue's wings.  Friends meet our newly dubbed Boe. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 I have to tell you ever since he has been with his loving foster family Boe, has truly come out of his shell!!! He loves children, he's fantastic with other dogs and loves going on his walks. Boe is potty trained, crate trained and is doing great with leash training. Oh and he even likes cats. Boe is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.   If you would like to adopt  Boe, that would be a blessing for him. 's d.  If you live in California, Escondido, San Diego or surrounding areas have a home with a yard and a minimum of a 6-foot fence and would love to adopt Boe, please complete our adoption application at tlck9rescue.org  He's a good boy, oh so happy since he's been with his foster family and so very playful. Please give Boe a 2nd chance at life.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 1:34 pm

Story
Bodie is an adorable Papillon/Long-Haired Chihuahua mix, all black with a white stripe on his chin. He is 3-4 years old and weighs 10 pounds, with a sturdy body on mini legs. He is playful, affectionate and intelligent. He is neutered, current on shots, microchipped, also house-trained and crate-trained. Like many little dogs, Bodie is feisty and lets you know what he does and doesn’t like. For this reason, he would not be good with young children. He is not good with cats as he will chase them. If you have another dog or dogs, he will want to play with them but needs an experienced owner to avoid squabbles at mealtime. He is shy at first but won’t take long to warm up and become your velcro dog. If you’re interested in adopting this charming little guy, email paprescuesocal@gmail.com for an adoption application. We adopt only in So. CA.

These pups are in San Diego, California too!

Woof!! come and meet me at Grossmont Center today Saturday 12/11 from 11 to 3 pm I have a beautiful light color coat, smart, and lovable. I am currently being fostered with other dogs and cats. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
