Adoption fee: $750 Meet Pixie – A tiny Papillon mix with a big heart for cuddles   At just 7–8 months old and a petite 6 pounds, Pixie is the definition of a “pocket pup.” She came to the rescue alongside her buddies Puck, Tinker, and Imp, and from the moment she arrived, it was clear— this little girl is equal parts affectionate companion and playful spark.   A Day in Pixie’s World   Pixie is wonderfully easygoing and adapts to whatever kind of day you have planned. She doesn’t demand a strict schedule and is happy to go with the flow.   She sleeps soundly through the night and lets you wake up on your own time. During the day, she alternates between cozy cuddle sessions and playful bursts of energy. While she’s not much of a long-distance walker (tiny legs, after all!), she enjoys getting out and about— often riding along in a bag and taking in the world from a safe perch. When it’s time for a potty break or a little exploring, she happily hops down to sniff around and do her business.   At home, Pixie is happiest wherever you are— usually curled up next to you on the couch or trotting nearby to see what you’re up to. At night, she settles into her crate, sometimes offering a brief opinion about bedtime before quickly drifting off.   Personality: Sweet, Snuggly, and Social   Pixie is a true cuddle bug. She loves being close to her people and will happily snuggle into your arms whenever invited. She’s the kind of dog who looks at you with soft, loving eyes that completely melt your heart.   She’s also a curious little shadow, following you from room to room just to stay involved in your day. While she can be a touch shy or cautious at first, all it takes is a little reassurance (and maybe being scooped up) for her to feel safe and comfortable.   Once she settles in, her playful side shines. She adores squeaky toys and will zoom around the house, inviting you to chase her in a game that’s as adorable as it is entertaining.   Friends & Social Life   Pixie gets along beautifully with other dogs, both at home and out on walks— as long as they approach her gently. She’s shown no signs of resource guarding and has been friendly with every dog she’s met.   She’s also incredibly people-friendly and doesn’t seem to mind being held by new friends. In fact, she once spent an entire class quietly tucked into a tote bag without anyone even noticing she was there— until the end, when she happily accepted attention from a room full of admirers.   Play Style & Energy   Pixie is the best of both worlds. If you’re in the mood to relax, she’ll happily curl up and nap with you for hours. If you’re feeling playful, she’s ready to spring into action with her toys or a game of chase.   Her exercise needs are minimal, making her a great fit for a variety of lifestyles—she’s just as content lounging as she is playing.   Training & Habits   Pixie is crate trained and currently working on her potty training. She uses potty pads reliably and is learning to go outside as well. Like many small dogs, she may take a little extra time to fully master housetraining, but she’s on the right track with consistency and patience.   She’s not a barker— aside from the occasional tiny excited sound during play— and hasn’t shown any chewing or destructive behaviors.   What Makes Pixie Special   There’s something about Pixie’s gaze— once she trusts you, she looks at you with pure love and devotion. It’s the kind of connection that makes you feel like the most important person in her world.   A Favorite Pixie Moment   Pixie once sat quietly in a tote bag for an entire 1.5-hour class without making a peep. No one even realized she was there—until the big reveal, when she calmly soaked up attention from a room full of new friends. Safe to say, she’s equal parts adaptable and charming.   Pixie may be small, but she brings a whole lot of love, warmth, and joy wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a cuddly, easygoing companion with a playful streak, Pixie might just be your perfect match.May 14, 2026, 12:10 am

Story
Max  is a super sweet, tender-hearted pup who is looking for a patient, loving home. While he may be timid at first—often preferring to watch the world go by from a cozy, safe spot—he has a heart of gold and is incredibly gentle when he warms up. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  No, we keep him in a pen with potty pads when we can take him outside. But he is smart and very eager to please his human. He will get it in no time with consistency. Describe how they are on a leash?  He is not used to walking on a leash, but is much better with a harness. Max does not like being pulled by his neck with just a collar. Currently, I have fastened the Martingale collar to the harness in order to be able to practice walking on a leash for his safety. Describe how they are with other dogs?  Max is friendly and great with other dogs.  Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Max is great with the resident dog. I have found them snuggling together on the couch. He has passed the cat test and would be fine with cats. Commands they know?  Max comes when you call him, but he hasn't had much training and would definitely benefit from basic training. What are their favorite things?  Cuddles, hanging out outside, playing with plushy toys, and mealtimes. What do they need to work on?  Building confidence, basic training, and leash training. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Max sleeps when he is left alone. He may cry for a few minutes at first, but he stops within 5 minutes. The longest time I have left Max at home is 5 hours, and he did just fine. Where do they sleep?  Max sleeps on his bed in his xpen. What is their ideal home?  With patience and consistency, sweet Max would do great with any family. Max is 3 years old and 10.71 pounds.     The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt . Story
Bean is a gentle, soulful companion looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can truly relax and blossom. With his low-energy, mellow nature, Bean is happiest curled up beside you, quietly soaking in your presence. He’s the definition of a lap dog—once he feels safe, he’ll lean into you with soft affection, showing just how much he trusts you. Bean can be a bit shy at first and needs time to adjust to new surroundings, but patience and kindness go a long way with him. He’s especially motivated by affection, responding best to gentle encouragement and a loving touch. His soft mouth and easygoing temperament make him a sweet, considerate companion. He gets along well with other dogs, though he’s just as content enjoying peaceful one-on-one time with his person. Bean isn’t looking for a fast-paced or noisy environment—he’s searching for a quiet home where he can build confidence at his own pace and share his quiet loyalty. If you’re someone who appreciates the beauty of a slow bond and the comfort of a calm, devoted friend, Bean might just be the perfect match.

Adoption fee: $800 Meet the Money Puppies Born on February 10th to Mama Moolah, a petite Papillon mix, Rupee, Lira, and Franc are three of the six adorable “Money Puppies” who joined our rescue alongside the Popcorn puppies— who may even be their half-siblings! At about 10 weeks old, these fluffy boys are already proving to be valuable additions to their foster home. With their soft coats and playful personalities, we suspect Dad may have been a Havanese, giving them that extra dose of fluff and bounce.   Daily Routine: Well-Structured, Happy Puppies   The Money Puppies have settled into a routine that keeps them thriving. They sleep together in a cozy modified x-pen—about 2 by 4 feet wide— with a blanket draped over one end to create a snug sleeping area and a pee pad on the other side just in case. They love curling up together in their shared bed and sleep soundly through the night, with only the occasional brief whimper before settling back down on their own.   Their day typically begins around 7:30–8:00 AM, when they head straight outside to the backyard for potty time. They eagerly follow their foster like the Pied Piper, and they reliably take care of business once outside. Afterward, food and water are available, and the puppies enjoy grazing and playing together for about an hour.   Throughout the day, they are taken outside about every hour when someone is home. In between potty breaks, they happily play with toys in the room and then rest for stretches of up to three hours. Food is left out most of the day so they can graze as they grow.   In the evening, they have a final round of potty time and independent play between 6:00 and 9:00 PM, followed by interactive playtime with their foster family from 9:00 to 10:00 PM. By then, the puppies are ready to wind down, and they settle easily for the night. Their foster describes them as some of the easiest puppies they’ve ever cared for.   Lira — The Sweet Snuggler   Lira is easy to recognize by the soft white markings on her nose, a small blaze on her chest, and white tips on all four paws. She is the cuddle bug of the bunch and has a special talent for melting into your lap the moment you sit down.   Lira has a calm, go-with-the-flow personality and often takes cues from the others, happily joining in whatever the group is doing. She is also the resident foodie and an enthusiastic grazer who enjoys her meals just as much as her snuggle time. With her gentle nature and loving heart, Lira is the kind of puppy who makes every quiet moment feel extra cozy.   Rupee — The Playful Leader   Rupee has a slightly pointier nose, a small white blaze on her chest, and white tips on her back paws. She is the confident “queen bee” of the litter— the tallest of the group and always ready to lead the next adventure.   She is the most playful of the bunch and brings endless fun and silliness wherever she goes. Rupee is typically the first to follow her foster out to the backyard in the morning and the first to transition from potty time into playtime. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she keeps the group energized and entertained.   Franc — The Curious Little Character   Franc is the smallest of the group but certainly holds his own. He has brown coloring on his ears, soft brown “eyebrows,” and tiny white hairs on his chest against his mostly black coat.   Franc is the observer of the group— curious, thoughtful, and always taking in the world around him. Once he builds up his courage, he jumps right into the fun and may even try to sneak in a playful pounce. He is also the most vocal of the trio, happily letting you know when he wants attention or when he has spotted a toy worth investigating.   Despite his playful energy, Franc is usually the first to fall asleep at night, often drifting off right on the hardwood floor without complaint.   Why the Money Puppies Are So Special   This litter truly offers something for everyone—playfulness, affection, curiosity, and companionship wrapped up in six fluffy packages. They are social, adaptable puppies who are already developing strong routines, good potty habits, and confidence in their daily lives.   Whether it’s Lira curling into your lap, Rupee leading the next round of play, or Franc quietly observing before joining the fun, each puppy brings their own personality to the group. Together, they make a lively, loving little family—and whichever one you choose, you’ll be making an investment in years of loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.May 14, 2026, 12:10 am

Story
Gizmo  is very youthful, perky, and energetic. LOVES to play with his toys and wrestle with small dogs. Loves to run around. Sniffs everything while out on walks. When he finally settles down, he's very affectionate and cuddly. Enjoys lap time while I'm at the computer. He is a good couch snuggler while watching movies. Food motivated (after a while, he even started liking some fresh fruits/veggies as a snack). Energy Level?  Med to High House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?  Good once he's on leash, but he thinks getting harnessed is a game, so it can be a little challenging. He is still a bit of a flight risk, Describe how they are with other dogs?  While on walks, he growls at bigger dogs, but when he gets close to friendly dogs, he was ok. He loves to play with other energetic small dogs. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Don't know about cats. Will chase squirrels/birds if given the chance. Commands they know?  He knows 'no'. We are working on  'stay' when we wait to cross a street (on leash), and he gets it. What are their favorite things?  His favorite things are stuffed toys, sniffing things while on walks, and food What do they need to work on?  He is a bit too interested in passersby and dogs during our walks. We are working on getting him to focus on us. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  I work at home, so he isn't alone much, but I think he would do ok being alone for a few hours.  Had in/out privilege, and he ended up sitting in the sun, chewing on his toy. Where do they sleep?  He sleeps in his crate. What is their ideal home?  An active home with other (energetic) dogs. Loves interacting and loves to run. Preferably has room for zoomies. Need to make sure he does not bolt while getting used to his new home, because he loves running. He is a great little dog. The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt .
