Adogs gave the owners some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. When male volunteers visited the Center, he approached first, asking for pets. If young children are holding treats, he may try to take them from them, so caution is needed. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. Prefers quiet and nonchalant friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Potties inside his kennel and also marks on poles. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness during short car rides. * Biting: Has a strong appetite so he growls and bares his teeth a little if you pet him when he’s eating. May get mouthy if you forcefully try to hold him. Doesn’t show aggression otherwise. * Barking: Sometimes barks when he’s impatient for food or treats. * LIkes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. Likes to rest in the sunlight. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him. * Personality: Has a low energy level, so he is generally quiet and well-behaved. Has an independent streak and is a true "gentle dog" who knows how to enjoy his own downtime.
